The skies opened up yesterday and we received much needed rain....buckets of it!!!
My digital newspaper had the following headline this morning: "Trump is honored by Republicans as the Man of the Decade". You may respond to this in any way that you see appropriate!
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, dressing, green beans, mashed potatoes, cranberry juice and apricots
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin and decaf coffee
Dinner - Protein bar
What did you eat yesterday?

Trump was awarded "Man of Decade" by the Oakland County Republican Party in the state of MICHIGAN. That is hardly an endorsement from the Republican Party as a whole. Had to fact check that "fake news distorted headline Linda. Although he did receive more votes running a second time than the first. Even more than Obama. Yet lost... very strange indeed

@LindaOHio Chocolate chip ones usually are! My favorite muffins I ever had were red velvet ones from a restaurant supply store, I believe.

I had chicken yesterday.
It rained a bucket here again last night but it didn't lower the temperature that much so I still had the air conditioner on. Glad I saw the sun this morning though but I know it'll disappear again later today.

@Marilynda1225 We've wanted to move down there for years. Now the median price of a house on the Key we want is $500,000. Should have done it years ago.

I'm glad you had a good rain. Of course, nothing here. I feel like we live in a desert here. However, it's terribly smoky from the wildfires, it is even affecting visiblily on highways.

We keep getting some thunderstorms that sort of just float around and then it will get dark and cloudy and then, nothing. It’s so frustrating. I hope it rains soon to save what little green is still out there!

Chicken taco salad in Indiana yesterday (my sis-in-law’s coming home from the hospital today, so I’m back on my side of the river), then grilled chicken and taters in the electric skillet for dinner. I’m falling madly in love with that very simple dinner.

I love that mailbox. Too hot and humid here for eating so I had pork patties and cottage cheese. My response to that headline is - Which decade????? If from the Neanderthal era I agree.
