2/7/24 - Update on Hubby

When I spoke to my husband yesterday morning, he was fairly lucid; however, the nurse called me in the afternoon to tell me they had to put him in restraints again. I told her about the past incidents that made me think that he has dementia; and I persuaded her to talk to the doctor about getting him an MRI. She called later on to tell me that they were going to take him for the MRI right then. I don't know the outcome as yet.
Prayers and thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

Dagnabbit. Are you seeing what I am seeing? All those beds are empty. The restraints didn't work! You need to get on the phone with someone at once. He's probably down the hall dropping quarters into a gedunk machine fishing out a bag of Fritos for Heaven's sake. lol

@porwest He was so grateful for the visit. His cousin went back to visit him today and will go tomorrow. Maybe I will be able to go again on the weekend.

@FourWalls He recognized both of us and said he hoped we would come back today. His cousin visited him again today. When I spoke to him on the phone this afternoon, he was the most lucid he's been in days!!!!

@wolfgirl569 His cousin went and visited him today. I called while she was there; and he was the most lucid I've heard him in days. I really think the visits help.

He will be going to rehab. It should be somewhere fairly close...closer than the hospital.

Linda, I may have missed a post, but I was wondering if he still had fluid on his lungs? Also, I recall you mentioning a possible unknown heart issue?

I think the fluid is under control. The unknown heart issue was the fluid.
