3/26/24 - Update on My Husband

What a disappointment. My husband's cousin called me yesterday morning to tell me that she was sick. Obviously I don't want to expose my husband to any illness; so we had to cancel the visit. What a letdown. Now he won't be able to call me either because I couldn't bring his cell phone. I left a message for him that I couldn't come. I hope he got it.
Hubby's godson/cousin is coming up from Tennessee Thursday and will take me to see my hubby on Friday.
I pulled a muscle in my back last night and regardless of how I sit I'm in excruciating pain. I don't know how long I will be able to stand this. Would appreciate any prayers to make this pain go away. I don't know how much MyLotting I will be able to do today.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

@LadyDuck That's what I was thinking. This is the third time that it's happened. The first time I went to the ER and they took a CT scan. It was a stone.

Linda, often severe back pain is caused by more than just a pulled muscle. You need to be seen by a doctor or just go to the ER. If you fell from the pain it could be disastrous!! Don’t wait!

I read the update on your lower back pain first before reading this. I hope that the pain won't come back, But if you feel the excruciating pain again, you need to go to the doctor

@jobelbojel I think it was a kidney stone. I've had that pain before.

I am sorry that you couldn't go, and that now he still does not have a phone. That would be hard.
Hopefully it all works out so you can go see him on Friday. I am sure that feels like it is forever away.

I understand how disappointed you are that you could not visit your husband.
If you have excruciating pain, go to the ER.

I know you are disappointed on the delayed visit, but like you said--don't want your hubby to catch something and get sick(er) too!! And you too, for that matter!
Can you see about getting a doctor's appointment and getting the cousin or Godson to take you while he is in area? Or if you are in that much pain, go to the ER!!

@LindaOHio Yes, I would bet on that if you had them before. Not fun. And very painful.

I must have passed a kidney stone. The pain stopped abruptly. This happened twice before. The first time I went to the ER. They took a CT scan and said I had kidney stones.

There is a crean (Diclofenac) that helps to soothe pain. I hope it helps.

Glad your back is feeling better, and I hope that stays that way! Don’t let that pain go too long, though, if it does come back.
