@much2say We have had some snow and sleet today with a very cold wind. Nothing is stuck on the roads, so that's a good thing.

We have torrential rain,the lake overflowed and the strong wind uprooted several trees. No rain last year, too much rain this year.

It was nice for the short time it rained ..... we're happy if we get humidity once in a while, that helps desert plants too.

The rain only lasted about 10 minutes and it was not very much. I live in a desert so we generally do not get lots of rain at any one time.

@rebelann Oh! I hope that you get some more good rain soon. Our city keeps getting rain throughout the year and occasional flooding too. But this year, we had none in the last few months and it is a drought like condition.

. We are getting heat waves too, that's very unusual for my place.

That song is one of my favorites. Yes, it was a steady rain but not all that drenching, it only lasted about 10 minutes or so.

I know what that feels like, in June and part of July and August we will get those hot dry nights as well, thankfully I have an evaporative cooler to help cool my home.

If it's a light breeze to simply push the bad air out then I don't mind but those 25mph to 50mph winds I can do without. If I wake up alive I wake up happy.
