Could you eat these?

I had never had liver of any kind. I know our resident Travel Gal, Lou, had to eat it growing up for the iron content, but the one time I went to eat it, my mom stopped me saying she knew I wouldn’t like it. So, when I got an offer to taste test bison liver crisps, I thought I might as well have an open mind. Oh, no. I could tell it was a premium product, but nothing could get me past the taste. Just overwhelming. It was like a soft beef jerky, only bison liver. Tell me, would you try it? Does anyone think they would like it? It’s expensive stuff so whomever buys it must really be enamored with the taste.

I never could eat beef liver and mom LOVED the crap! I do like breaded and fried chicken liver, though. (When we used to have a KFC in our city, I'd buy chicken liver and baked beans, then dip the liver in the baked beans and that was delicious! ) The KFC here closed down and a Taco Bell took over their place. I don't eat Taco Bell but Pretty likes it. *shrug*

Nope, I would not try it. Unless maybe I was starving. Your mom was a wise woman to know you would not like it and choose not to force you.

Not me, but some people actually like liver. You just have to locate them. Did you offer them to your bro in law?

@MommyOfEli2013 Yeah, I like jerky unless it’s crazy hard. My brother-in-law once tried exotic jerky, and he said the emu was great, but the camel was terrible. Uh, ew.

No, I would not give that a try. I have had to boost my blood levels many many times over the years and have had to eat and drink things that were awful tasting, now if I do not like it, I do not eat it, and look for a supplement from another place.

I like liver, I don't have it often, maybe a few times a year. We had it more often when I was growing up as my mom fixed it at least once a month. Usually when I do eat it now, is when she has fixed it. I've even like the taste of beef tongue that I've only ate a few times.

Nope on the liver and nope on the bison chips. Liver is just something I am not willing to even try. It's really funny but liver and onions was one of my moms favorite dishes. If we would go out to eat that's what she always ordered.

That’s what I initially saw in a restaurant that my mom wouldn’t let me try, liver and onions. On the buffet line it looked delicious.

No liver for me. Doesn't sound very tasty, lol. Seems your mom was right. My Mom has eaten something called liver mush. It is a North Carolina favorite the state where she grew up.
