5/18/25 - Meals

It was a very quiet and lonely weekend. Today (5/19) my husband's 2nd cousin comes over to do the trash and make sandwiches. She will also pick up groceries and my prescriptions. I haven't heard from her daughter; but they are dealing with some serious personal problems at this time. I have also messaged her to ask if her friend would be interested in working for me.
Breakfast - PB&J Sandwich
Lunch - PB&J Sandwich and BBQ chips
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate chip muffin
Dinner - Pagoda pot stickers

You had PB&J sandwiches for both breakfast and lunch. Hope you like it enough to have it twice in a day. I hope that you get a positive response from her friend.
I just had my lunch cooked by my mom. I had hot simple meal of steamed rice, moong lentil soup, lady finger fry, ivy gourd, cucumber and curd.

I love lentil soup. The PB&J sandwiches were an easy choice because my housekeeper makes me a bunch of sandwiches each week. You take care too and I hope you heal quickly.

Maybe you should get a pet. They would be the purr fact companion and would probably help keep the mouse population down too

I’m so sorry. 
I had a chicken soft taco for lunch and taters, strawberry sorbet, cheese sammiches, and apples for dinner. And yogurt!!

Hope she shows up today and gets stuff done for you. Also fingers crossed her friend is willing to come and work for you. You definitely need someone you can rely on.

I'm sorry about your weekend. Do you have a cup warmer by your chair? Do you know what I mean? It's a gizmo that plugs into a wall socket. My Dad had one and found it to be very handy- you also might be able to warm some soup in a mug with one of those?

I like peanut butter too, but I haven't had a sandwich with it except toasted in a long time.
I made peanut butter cookies yesterday.
For brunch we had the usual, bacon, sausages, he had eggs and I had an asparagus/Swiss cheese crepe.
He did a sirloin tip roast for supper with asparagus, mashed potatoes and gravy. It was a nice meal as it was a cool day here.
Today is Victoria Day so I am home from work and tomorrow I begin my new schedule which is a little later and am feeling a bit anxious about changing my entire life around my work hours.
