Received a call from Visiting Angels. They have a minimum of 4 hours per shift and do not want a sporadic user; so they will not work. He suggested Laketran which I already know about.
Window man is coming this morning to measure the broken window. Tomorrow morning the garage door people are coming to install the garage door and opener.
Breakfast - PB&J
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, green beans, peaches
Dessert/Snack - Banana chocolate chunk muffin, ice cream bar
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/cheddar sandwich, chips

You'd think they'd be happy with money. $100 a month is $100 more than they're making from you right now.

You made a new sorbet! I'm thinking about calling the woman across the street. I think she works; but her daughter might be able to help me part time.

It is too bad that the Visiting Angels cannot help with your needs, but I wonder if you have a handi-bus system that you could access. We have them here, the rider requires a recommendation from their doctor to get on the list and then they can call to schedule a pick up from their home and give their destination and at that time book a ride home from that destination. And of course they do not charge for that either because it is due to a medical condition that anyone takes a ride. People with walkers can ride the ramp so that they do not have to attempt the stairs.

I would have to have someone put on my shoes and socks. The problem with some of my appointments is that I need someone to push me in a wheelchair. The walk is much too far for me.

@LindaOHio Thanks for asking. Nick (guide dog), Henry (cat), and I are well and doing good. They're both napping now. I'm resting in between walking the dog and straightening up my apartment. Enjoying the sunny, 72°F weather. The RealFeel® is 80°, but in the shade, the RealFeel is 71°. Not a bad outside day at all. How have you been?

I know I ate lots of fruits and vegetables. It sounds like you need a handy helper type service. Could you not come up with a four hour once a week schedule?

I love Teriyaki chicken. The roof people did a whole bunch of repairs, etc. in the house. When they went to replace the windowsill on one of the windows, it was rotted underneath. When he removed the rotten part, the window shifted and broke..

You have quite a to-do list of projects. It's amazing how much maintenance homes require the longer we live there. I recently had a broken pipe fixed and had to have tree branches cut back from my house. I will finally address my screen front door and have it fixed soon.
Repairs definitely never end...

It sounds like you have quite a lot going on just now.
Can I ask what Buffalo Chicken is?
I cooked a Chicken Curry for Dinner last night knowing full well it would last 2 days and it was very good.
We had ice cream and fresh strawberries also.

Buffalo chicken is chicken seasoned with something to make it a little bit spicy. Like Buffalo chicken wings.
