I am so sorry you are having a hard time, Amber. You know you have my prayers and support. I wish only good things for you, always.
Some good things...other than my son's health, the rest of my family is doing pretty well. That means a lot right now. I have friends who check in on me. I am excited for the last week in July, my youngest daughter and her little family will be here for a week, and I absolutely can't wait to see them all!
Hopefully, soon I will have good news about my son, too. Never give up...not ever. Big, giant HUGS!

Local farmers, the Spooners- love their name- has ripe strawberries again. I mean fresh from the field ripe. Not cheap but oh my!!! I went to their adorable wooden booth today and stood in line. Store strawberries are the pits. Not these guys.

That is a definite thing to be happy about. I learned that from my maternal grandmother. She would take us to the Stands, which was just a rickety gazebo where locals who grew produce would sell them. Such fresh, quality food! We could always identify store bought tomatoes and strawberries from “Bixby” tomatoes and strawberries. (The town with The Stands was Bixby. My dad got so excited when we went there.

Hi Amber. Sorry to hear you're having a hard time. I hope this good news makes you feel better. Presenting Batman and Robin. These two beautiful boys came in our life on 18th May ever since they only fill our life with joy.
It happen at a time when both my husband and I were having a hard time and were very depressed. He went out to get bread and on his way back he found Batman and Robin.
He was able to get Robin 1st. He came home and knocked. I found it weird that he was knocking on his own door and when I open that is when I met Robin. I could not believe it. After years of struggle of finding a cat to adopt, God sent him. Then my husband gave him to me and went to get Batman.
They must be brothers. We only planned to adopt one kitten but we were not heartless to separate these two brothers so we got both of them home.
God is great. In the hardest time he helped us help these two little fellas. Finally I can happily say that we are Batman and Robin's Parent.
Batman is calm and independent. He does not need much attention but we love to pet him. At first he wouldn't purr and was kinda like staying alone. I found out after 1 week that he was shy. So we started adding him into all activities that Robin does with us as a family. And he started purring after 3 days. It was like a miracle.
Robin is a complete opposite of Batman. He is playful and can give you a good scratch if you're not mindful. He is adorable just like Batman. But he isn't independent. He is our baby. We still have to wipe his bum after he does his business. He is still learning. He loves cuddles.
Ever since these two came my husband has finally find happiness. I can tell when he interact with them. He is so caring. He would do everything for them.
I love how Robin would wake me up in the middle of the night for me to open the door and he go do his business and would come back within 8-10min and meow for me to open the door.
It feels great being their lost parents. Tell you a secret....even my mother in law who hates cat loves them secretly. She doesn't know I know. Lol.
I wrote a lot...cause I had so much to share. I hope this makes you feel better.

I'm sorry to hear this, Amber. You know I'm praying for you.
We saw Robert play in his city softball tournament today which was enjoyable. And we now have Starlink internet and told Brightspeed why we were canceling their service.
I wish we lived closer. I'd bake you something sweet and we'd enjoy a lovely visit together.

Right now I am finally going to get two trees removed (hopefully) tomorrow. They are Bradford Pear trees. Some limbs had fallen off during storms. I want to get a weeping Japanese Maple to replace those trees.

PM me if you need to talk. Right now the only good thing I can think of is possibly going to dinner with the gravel man. Gives me something to look forward to.
