Haven't heard from cousin #3; and cousin #2 said she's coming on Tuesday instead of Monday.
Did you hear that Connie Francis passed away? I remember her singing and acting in the movie Where the Boys Are. I believe she was 87.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Hawaiian chicken, rice pilaf, 2 servings of mixed veggies, Mandarin oranges and an apple oatmeal bar
Dessert/Snack - Lemon blueberry muffin
Dinner - Chicken/Muenster sandwich, chips, ice cream bar
What did you have to eat yesterday?
Any plans for the weekend?

I heard she passed away, but I wasn’t too familiar with her. I do remember my grandparents mentioning her back in the day.
Yesterday, I had popcorn and some squares of Parmesan cheese. And as I type that it hits me that is all I ate, it settles in that that is not good at all.

You need to eat more. As Marie said, more veggies....and some fruit. I should talk. I don't eat properly either.

I’m going to continue to rest my back. I’ll be in Lexington Monday for family reasons.
I had a chicken taco for lunch, grilled cheese (and a kosher pickle! 
) and “fried” potatoes for dinner, blueberry sorbet and strawberry sorbet, yogurt, apples, and fiber!

@LindaOHio Her parents were from Reggio Calabria, deep south of Italy, in fact her name was Concetta, typically a southern name.

I ate two chimichangas for breakfast, ate some pasta with ground beef for lunch and a burger without a bun for supper. I ate an ice cream cone for dessert.

@LindaOHio Good morning. My eyes are both open and neither one hurt. My back/sciatic nerve is also doing okay right now, thanks. If I'm not having trouble seeing in the morning, I'll go get the car inspected and pay for new tags for it.
The doctor prescribed new medicated eye drops for my right eye and prescribed an NSAID pain reliever and prednisone to help with inflammation and to "calm" the nerve pain down.

I remember the song, Where the boys are. The movie, I think I watched on TV once--she was popular when I was tiny.
Hawaiian chicken sounds good. I've had that before but not for a long time.

I always loved Connie Francis and was sad to hear she had passed.
I don't have any weekend plans. My daughter is leaving for vacation so it will be just me and the pup for the week.

@LindaOHio I can understand that you miss your dogs and that they would be good company. But, they are work and sometimes I find it difficult taking care of mine especially when she wants to go out and I'm not ready

Yes, I did hear about Connie. I actually thought she had passed already, so it came as quite a surprise. I also recall the movie Where the Boys Are that she was in. She had such a spunky personality in that film.

For breakfast I had a Muffin, for lunch spaghetti, for dinner pizza! But. mostly because I have been busy all day, so just had leftovers for a late lunch, tomorrow I have healthy meals planned!

Yesterday I made a breakfast ham and gouda cheese sandwich on Oat bread. I put honey mustard in it. We did not eat again until almost three, but that was at a Chinese buffet where I ate a lot of everything, but no fruit or dessert. We were so full we did not eat anything last night.

The Chinese buffet sounds wonderful. I put a container of orange chicken in my Walmart cart. I will have it some time next week.
