Do you wonder if it's attacked some of your students?

@NJChicaa There are some weird diseases in our country. You can get them in fresh or salt water, from fleas, from prairie dogs....the list goes on.

I saw that quite a while back. I have been watching. I wish I could stock up. If you freeze chocolate the flavor goes bad.
That brain thing is so horrible.

It's very rare; and you have to be swimming in fresh water.

I don't like buying chocolate during the hot weather... I don't like having to lick it off my fingers.
I ate a turkey salad "sandwich" using a hamburger bun instead of bread. It was okay... I prefer it on potato bread. I had a Hot Pocket for lunch and then ate the last of the pasta with ground beef for my supper with steamed broccoli. It was delicious!

@LindaOHio Good luck!
I haven't bought a chocolate bar in thirty years, at least. I prefer Little Debbie Swiss Rolls or other chocolate covered snacks. But won't buy them in the summer because the chocolate on them melts on me.
In the summer, I buy things like Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies or the Hostess Zingers. Those won't melt and make a mess.

I might buy a bar of the Walmart brand chocolate. Hopefully it won't melt too much in cousin #3s car.

Why stock up on Hersheys when there are much better brands to get.

@thislittlepennyearns I had a taste for a chocolate orange. They used to be $5 on the Walmart site. Now they are $12. Too rich for my blood.

@LindaOHio It's not just chocolate. it's everything. But there are way better chocolates than Hershey's. And if you're going to spend the money get something better lol

I swam in lakes when I was younger. We never knew of things like this. These days I wouldn’t enjoy lakes.

I can't even justify buying a candy bar anymore. When I was a kid a candy bar was 50 cents. Now they are almost $2. They can keep them. It's just not worth it.
For dinner, we just cleaned out as many leftovers as we could, and pretty much most of its gone, thankfully.

Can't say I am surprised. Everything is going up in price. What is not?
That sounds terrifying, no thanks....
PB&J sounds good.
Yesterday I had a mcgriddle for breakfast, slice of pizza for lunch and a late night dinner of chicken and fries.

It is inevitable with the tariffs for the prices to rise. I may take to making home made fudge, etc. as I have some cocoa on hand.

It will be good for my health if I eat less chocolate, I suppose.
For supper we had pasta with pesto. I have an overgrown basil plant that needed using. And leftover pork tenderloin, and the last (hopefully) of last year's beans.
Saskatoon Berry pie for dessert

when it comes to chocolate, we make our own... magnificent. A friend gave me a recipe how to make a chocolate bar from scratch. We also make our own ice cream which I admit... I sometimes eat for breakfast. Other times I;ll have prorridge. I love peanut butter but not with jelly. I will eat it on a ginger bulla... delish!
