Got an IM from cousin #3. She is coming over today! So is cousin #2. Should be a busy day.
I've been leaving my cell phone on so that I get any people that are still calling because of the phone fiasco I had a few months ago. Well, I didn't catch it in time; and this time the battery ran out....the phone is totally dead. Fortunately the basic flip phones are not too expensive to replace....but I'm a dummy!!
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli, apple oatmeal bar, tropical fruit.
Dessert/Snack - None
Dinner - PB&J sandwich, BBQ chips

Uhm... There is no such thing as a basic phone anymore. EVERY phone is a smart phone now. It might still be a flip phone but it has internet and you can use it to go online if you know how. (When I was still the phone salesman at Walmart, I'd have a few people who'd bring me their phone and ask me to make sure it couldn't go online. The ONLY way I could do that was by starting a movie on their phone and let it use up the available internet. Then hand the phone back to them. It acted like a basic flip phone once the internet ran out.)
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant yesterday for breakfast, had a slice of All-Meat pizza for lunch and ate two bananas, and another sausage, egg and cheese croissant for supper last night.

@LindaOHio Your phone wouldn't charge at all when you plug it in? Did you try using it while it was plugged in? Sometimes that will let you use it for weeks to months longer if you can't buy a new phone. It just has to stay plugged in while you use it.

I charge my phone overnight every single night so it's always charged.

New phones have better batteries. I checked mine just now, it is 50% and I haven't charged it since last Friday.
You will like that aspect of a new phone.
Yesterday I made homemade burgers to have without buns, we don't typically eat them on buns anymore, with beans on the side and some sliced cucumbers.
Back to work today after a nice 3-day weekend.

My old roomie only ever had a flip phone. He had to replace it once, I think it cost him 5 bucks or something. I had salad, that cajun sausage thing I made, some Pepperridge Farm Caramel brioche bread for breakfast. yummy!

I had the best lunch in the world!!! Conversation and a visit with Amber! Oh, I ate a chicken taco, too (Chuy’s). Nowhere to go but downhill from there, so it was a toasted turkey sub from Subway for dinner. Apples and fiber!
