So I say "good evening, friends".
I have been changing things in my house these last days. And Anita´s brother came today for the first time to bring my King size bed to my room.
At first he asked what I wanted and how I wanted it done. I replied that my intelligence was to discover who was intelligent and who wasn´t. And as I knew that he was capable I would not get into something that I did not know.
I just told him that the King size bed was 10 cm too high.
So he cut off the wooden legs, went to buy some small wheels and started to work. Anita came to help and she cut the veggies for a coleslaw while I made the dressing. I had potatoes and also had meat. I also cooked the rest of the Brusel´s sprouts and we had quide a good lunch. Mario brought his son to help him.
Now I have a King size bed in my room and can put my laptop by my side and the book I´m reading. And I could make a long list of the things for my desk-bed I will now have.

Claudia, mt youngest daughter, gave it to me a few years ago. But the bed was way too high and now I´m worried about sliding and hitting my butt again. Some time ago I took it up to the second ffloor and brought down an old bed I had. But that bed is just too old.

Although the wheels were quite expensive, everything was much cheaper than a new bed.

It depends on person to person some want to have money and some like to have friends.
Those are lucky who have friends in their life to support them. I regret for not having good friends in my life , may be because I have kept myself so much busy in work life. Now when my retirement age is not so far I am understanding the importance of good friends in life.
But I am still happy as I have a good family and few online friends which lifts my mood when I am down.
@daddyevil is one them...I like talking to him when I am not feeling well.

I don't have many real-life friends anymore. Mine all moved away during the pandemic and most live too far away now for me to visit regularly. I still talk with some of them in texts and talk to a lot of online friends via WhatsApp.

Now you sleep like I do, One side of my bed is for my books and other stuff and I sleep on the other side, I hope it is comfortable for you,
