My Hair...

Pretty trimmed 4 inches off of it a few months ago. I got my last haircut in January 2021. It's just been growing since then. Lots of men have long heir here.

@DaddyEvil Have you decfided to cut it off now and just trim it?

@allknowing Pretty's hair is just as long as mine and we're both getting tired of long hair for now.

@DaddyEvil Maybe you want to set a new record by growing your hair to your toes.

@May2k8 I don't think so. Pretty cut 4 inches off my hair a couple of months ago. I want it short again now but she won't cut any more off. She's afraid she'll make a mistake.

I usually have short to medium length hair. I like mine long but it's really time consuming taking care of long hair.

@moffittjc I've never had hair this long before. (Pretty trimmed about 4 inches off a few months ago but she won't cut any more than that. She's scared she'll do something wrong and it won't look good.) It's really itchy on my back and can drive me crazy.

Thanks. I like how wavy, curly it is until it's time to comb it out. It snarls too easily and can take forever to work the snarls out before I can comb it. Pretty's hair is just as long as mine but she doesn't have as much curl to hers. Her mom's hair was straight as string.

No, never this long before. Most of the time mine is either fairly short to medium length. Once it reaches my shoulders, it starts tickling my back and that can drive me crazy scratching...

Thank you. It is really thick. I'm sorry you have a bald spot. Several of my brothers are/were bald on top, too. The brother just older than me has a bald spot on top and has had that since he was in his late teens. He always told me I'd go bald just like him... I hope the special shampoo helps you grow more hair.

@DaddyEvil ........My grandson's hair is long. I have always liked long hair of a man. But then, I am of the hippy mindset.

@celticeagle I hope your grandson likes his long hair. Mine has been long since 2021 and I was getting tired of taking care of it. It's still down on my shoulders when it's wet but the curls draw it up (when it's dry) onto the top of my shoulders/around my neck.

@celticeagle We both have shorter hair now. Mine is just below my shoulders and Pretty's is a little longer than that. Mine curls so is just resting on my shoulders.

@DaddyEvil - My hair is not curly, buy "wavy" and I wanted it straight, so it was a pain because the least humidity and the waves are back.

@LadyDuck My hair gets really frizzy when we have high humidity.

I like my hair down around my shoulders. It's really curly when it's that length. Once it gets long enough to lay on my back, it starts driving me crazy. It makes my back itch all the time. I'll be happy having shorter hair again.

@DaddyEvil I can understand her concerns. I would be afraid to cut someones hair too.

@Tampa_girl7 She practiced cutting her own first before she'd touch mine. It was the first time she's cut hair. She has a friend who told her it's easier to cut curly hair as the curls will hide mistakes. I think she did a good job on both our hair.

Pretty trimmed 4 inches off mine a few months ago but won't cut it any shorter. I'll have to see a hairdresser to get a real haircut. Pretty is always scared she's going to do something wrong.

Thank you. We went for haircuts last Friday. My hair isn't long anymore but it isn't as short as I used to get it, either. It's still long enough to curl on my neck. I hope you and your family are doing well.

@DaddyEvil Your hair is gorgeous. I was back and forth on cutting mine again but decided in this windy rainy area, it's easier to pony tail it.

It took me about 15 minutes to finger comb it and then run a comb through it every morning when I got up. I got most of it cut off a few days ago and it's much easier to take care of now.

I used to keep my hair just below my shoulders and it would curl up and look much shorter. I'm ready to go back to something easier to take care of now.

Dad kept our hair really short when I was growing up. I like it longer than that but don't want it this long again. We got haircuts a few days ago. My hair still reaches below my shoulders when it's wet but curls on top of my shoulders when it's dry now. I like that.

@porwest Dad was a barber for years and always insisted on buzz cuts for us boys. I was really happy when he couldn't give haircuts anymore and I was earning my own money. He'd still gripe about my hair getting longer but he didn't want to pay for my haircuts.

@DaddyEvil When I was younger I had longer hair. After I got out of the navy I was just so used to short, I have always kept it that way.

This is the longest I've ever let my hair get and Pretty actually cut 4 inches off of it a few months before this picture was taken. I was getting split ends and asked her to tidy it up. I really don't want it to get close to this long again. It's too much work keeping it looking nice at this length. Pretty has hair very similar to mine except she doesn't have as much curl to her hair.

@DaddyEvil I loved riding motorcycles when I was younger. I had a dirt track bike. Never rode on the street, unless behind my husband. We have had a few bikes since married.

@kareng I rode behind friends but never learned how to ride a motorcycle by myself.

I never wanted tattoos. I do have piercings but don't know how to ride a motorcycle.

I usually keep mine just a little past my collar and the curl brings/pulls it shorter looking. You're right, I don't remember seeing a picture of your hair. I'm sure it looks lovely. This is the longest I've ever let mine get and Pretty cut 4 inches off of it a couple of months ago. I was getting some split ends. Long hair is a pain in the tush. it takes a lot of time and effort to keep it looking good. I'll be happier when my hair is shorter again.

@AmbiePam At least I have the time to work with it now... But it's a pain when you have to do it every day.

I want my hair short enough that it doesn't get in my face... It drives me crazy when it can fall in my face.

@rakski I used barrettes to hold my hair out of my face when it was growing... One lady made fun of me. I told her it was none of her business what I wore in my hair... Once my hair got longer, I didn't need the barrettes anymore. My hair stayed out of my face. Now, of course, my hair is combed to one side and stays out of my face just fine.

Pretty's hair is just as long as mine. Mine takes a lot more upkeep than hers does, though. She has some wave but not as much as mine.

@LindaOHio I don't think I want mine that long again. It was too hard to take care of it.

@DaddyEvil I used to have to put mine in rollers and sit under the hair dryer. Otherwise it was all bushy and curly. Mine was really long too. Not anymore!
