Had the meeting with the lawyer. I had everything printed out on a sheet for him; so it was no big deal. Going to pay extra so that when I die the house can transfer to cousin #3 and her husband without going through Probate. Today the Terminix inspectors are coming. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken breast, dumplings, spinach, carrots, grapes Dessert/Snack - Cinnamon apple muffin Dinner - Dairy Queen - Chicken fingers, Texas toast, fries What did you eat yesterday? You were smart to have everything ready for the lawyer. I would hope that Cousin #3 would begin to show you the respect that you so deserve and even more after this selfless act. Last evening we went to a pancake supper, lots of fresh fruits and the most delicious little cinnamon pancakes I have ever had.

That was clever to be so prepared for the lawyer. We need to redo our wills.

Most of the time Wills are contested out here. So I will have to prepare trusts. Trusts are irrevocable, so the fear is should I need some money what would be my position. Trying to get sufficient liquidity into picture, and clear a few debts before dad passes on. If I manage to keep cousins away, the charities gain. Else, I end up I don't know where. 90 percent chances cousins will come for my money. They are heavily into gambling, drinking, and womanizing. Such folks do not leave money alone.

Yes, I figured that I was getting to that age, plus I had to redo mine because my husband was my heir.

Well, first, don’t go anywhere anytime soon. Secondly, cousin #3 needs to get it together. I have some words I’d like to say to her. Yesterday, I had mashed potatoes with brown gravy, catfish, beaver nuggets, a roll, and an apple.

@LindaOHio No, Linda. You’re like my dad. I refuse to think you or him or a few others will ever leave this earth. I’m going to have to insist you stick around.

Wow, good idea. I should check into that. I had a chicken taco salad for lunch, chicken soup for dinner, applesauce, fiber, yogurt, and A LOT of cough drops for my sore throat.

@LindaOHio — thanks. Allergies, I’m getting better since I started using steroid nasal spray (not to mention that I can pick my car up with my nose thanks to the steroids ).

Glad you were able to get some details hashed out. Always for the best. For dinner we made those Banquet chicken pot pies. They passed the test. I mean, not jump out your chair and cheer fare, but good enough. We will do them again.

That's a good move. I am sad my departed husband didn't secure all his properties before he went. Anyway, breakfast was a banana. Lunch was rice and fried chicken, so was dinner.

Glad getting your will done was quick and easy. I am thinking of updating my will too. Hope the Terminix guy is able to figure out the mouse issue. Last night we had burgers (no bun) potato wedges and baked beans

The Terminix guy said my exclusion has expired; and I would have to pay another $1,000 for them to come out and look for more entry points. They are nuts.

Sounds complex. Didn't know that would cost extra? But I think that is what my grandparents needed to do for their house for my mom...but the will never got changed. Your dinner sounds great!

It's not complex as long as a lawyer handles it for you! You just have to pay extra. I wasn't planning on that; but when he explained it to me, it seemed like the best way to go.

Pork riblets for lunch and dinner with homemade French fries and a peach. For breakfast we had a pepperoni sandwich. Also we finished the rest of our chocolate milk.
