Had my Wellness Exam at my PCP yesterday. Also got a flu shot. My doctor said that she knows of two ladies that might be able to help me; and she will have them call me. She didn't know what they charged or if they were available. I hope I hear from them. My heart rate has been around 100 for more than a year. She put me on a new med that is supposed to slow down my heart rate. It was 117 in her office yesterday. It's one of the meds that my husband took for his AFIB.
There is a free shredding event on Saturday that cousin #3 said she would take my bags of shredding to....since she's so busy and not communicating, cousin #2 said she would take the shredding and do some other things for me on that day. Yay!
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Fish sandwich, Lima beans, potato wedges, banana
Dessert/Snack - Fiber brownie
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, yogurt

Yesterday, I had some cheese. But I was sick all day with a migraine (and its consequences) and couldn’t keep anything down. I can’t imagine how I’ll get to the dentist today, but I can’t afford the $50 fee for not canceling 24 hour ahead of time.

The usual for lunch, infamous potato soup with rice and cheese for dinner. Fiber, yogurt, applesauce, and I’m out of bread!

You'd think, since I am enjoying some bachelor time, I'd run right out and get something like a bucket of chicken or something, but I still have some leftovers around and I am wanting to run through some of that, so I just ate some more leftover fried fish, buttered beans and macaroni and cheese. It was good.

Hopefully they will call you and be able to help. Sorry about the heart rate. Mine is always high, could be because of my low iron though. Hopefully the new med will help yours.

@LindaOHio Mine probably has to do with my weight. Maybe my iron being too low. Who knows. Mine was 85 today at rest (well I also had been drinking caffeine).

Simple but delicious meal I remember having a lot of potatoes and cottage cheese from childhood, I fried up bacon and onions and tater tots and plopped cottage cheese on that and I rememberd yesteryear,

Your PCP appointment seems to have gone well and that the meds help with your heart rate.
It would be wonderful if those girls could help you. Fingers crossed they call you.
Glad cousin #3 is taking the shredding for you.

You absolutely have to have a helper or two. No choice in that, with your mobility issues and not driving anymore. I hope you can find one as soon as possible.
