Thank a Veteran for his/her service today (11/11).
Cousin #2 came yesterday and did everything on my to-do list!!! She went to start the Subaru; and the battery was dead. That was a new AAA battery just a few months ago. Fortunately my AAA membership is good until November 22. I will call today to get a jump start and find out about the battery warranty.
No Meals on Wheels today (Veteran's Day). Cousin #2 made my gnocchi and put it in a microwave container. That will be lunch. Yum.
All the broo-ha-ha about s**w yesterday. We ended up with just a couple of inches.
Breakfast - Granola bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken patty sandwich, cheesy potatoes, broccoli, pears
Dessert/Snack - Natural brownie, mini oatmeal cookies
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, no salt chips, peaches

That's good she came and did all that. Sorry about the battery. A couple inches of snow is not too bad...though it is too early for that lol

Yes, a car battery will die if the car isn't driven regularly, but hopefully the AAA will help you out with that.
We got a little more snow in the night, for a total of about 5 inches. There were a few nearby cities that got more, north of me. But this will soon melt, it's supposed to be in the 60's by Friday.

@MarieCoyle She will be taking the car soon; and it will be driven much more until she sells it. I'm hoping they don't have to put in a new battery.

I haven't dealt with them in years, so I don't know for sure. I just know a battery can be permanently killed if the car isn't used enough or started, etc. Hopefully they will fix it up..if they do, have cousin drive it for several days to charge it up.

Our church had something special recognizing the veterans on Sunday. I am so very thankful for all who served and are serving.
Yesterday, I had two cuties, Velveeta cheese dip with sausage and chips, a baked potato, and a piece of chicken.

I would think with that warranty you should be able to get that battery replaced - that happened to my mom twice last year within a few short months. Glad the snow was tamer than expected! We had leftovers all day - but we treated ourselves to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. We had a lot of leftovers so ended up eating that for a meal today.

We had 38 last night and this morning only in the 40s and now is 52 and going down, Down blanket tonight and space heater. I made another ham with tomatoes on rye bread with a splach of Italian dressing and later ice cream sandwich and ding dong,
