Good morning from Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's snowing. I'm sorry I didn't get here on Saturday to give you the thankful post. It's been a rough weekend. This morning, I realized I have more than a serious cold. I have COVID. I never had it before. I have no doubt about it being COVID. A look at the symptoms confirmed my suspicions. I canceled my open house for January first and let my brother know not to pick me up for my sister's open house this Friday. I let my sister know also. I also let my son know I won't be doing Christmas dinner. So, instead of interacting with you right now, I'm going back to bed. I hope your day is off to a better start. Thanks for reading. OH NO! I am so sorry you have Covid, I have read that this year the flu is very similar to Covid. Try to rest and stay at home, I hope you will be well soon.

@just4him - I have read that Covid causes a taste problem for a while, but then your taste will come back and you will be fine.

Thank you. It's been a long time since I had the flu, and it was never like this. Everything I eat tastes funny. Believe it or not, I don't like the taste of bananas right now. Nothing tastes right. I'm exhausted just sitting here. I thought it was just a bad cold. Not!

I hope you checked on your friend who took you shopping a couple of days ago and everything is okay with her. I hope you feel better quickly. If we aren't feeling well with any symptoms, we don't leave the house. And we always wear masks.
