Early Update

A little while ago I couldn’t tell if it was mostly sleet, or if all that white was snow, but the news says we have four inches. I think they must be talking about downtown because it doesn’t quite look like four inches from my 3rd floor view. I should also mention it’s also really hard to tell with just one light to see from out back. It’s currently 10 F (-12 C). One thing I noticed today, and it’s worse now, is what this cold weather has done to my messed up neck. My back has always been my main problem, but I can’t shake the tightness in my neck and skull. None of my topicals are working, unfortunately.
Still staying warm!

Does a heating pad help your neck? It does mine....but I always feel better if I am warm in the winter. I think cold air just makes us hurt! I'm sorry, I hope you can feel better, Amber.

I was very unhappy when someone wanted to "declutter" my stuff. I remember you mentioned they moved your things when you were on vacation. Of course they do not remember where they put it.

A "rice sock" is good as it conforms around your neck and can go room to room with you.. I know the cold makes us all hurt, but I am not doing too bad. I think it is because my job is less physically demanding. It may also be all the extra protein, but I have never read that. We seem to be colder than you by a smidge, and snow is still coming down. We did not get sleet.

It is 3 am now and we may have an inch of snow on top of the sleet we got earlier. It is 5F/-15C and still coming down.
I hope you find your heating pad...
