41 days until spring. I am so over this winter. Are you?
Watched the Olympics Opening Ceremony last night. It was a colorful and moving event. Mariah Carey sang and Snoop Dogg was out with the American athletes.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, cranberry juice, chunky applesauce
Dessert/Snack - Nature's Bakery Brownie
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, veggie straws, yogurt

I could make you jealous with our Spring like weather, but we do still have some piles of snow where they were scraped up. Weather in the 50's and 60's for highs this week. Last night for supper we had homemade burgers that had bacon and cheddar in them. I had some "carb master" buns. They were not bad at all.

It's going to be ***43*** on Thursday! I can't remember the last time it was that warm. At 2 am this morning it was 3 below zero.

I watched some of the ice skating last night. What they are doing on the ice these days is amazing.

Sorry yours has been awful (winter) and you're ready for it to be over. Today was in the 60s here, so no...that can continue. Next week is supposed to drop into the 40s though and the bad S word was mentioned.

@LindaOHio Right 50s and even 60s in early February? We are going to drop down to the 40s so we'll probably be similar on Thursday. One day it said it could snow all day though? BLEH

The usual for lunch (across the river in Clarksville), grilled cheese and chicken veggie soup for dinner. A peppermint patty for dessert, yogurt, applesauce, and fiber!

I watched a little yesterday evening. I read this morning in the Italian newspapers that Vance was booed in Milan. Maria Carey sang Volare in San Siro Stadium and her lips were out of sync with the audio. Disappointing performance compared to the incredibly wonderful "Nessun Dorma" sang by Bocelli.

@LindaOHio - We do not like racists and Italians are angry because Vance came with ICE agents to protect him. Bocelli has such a wonderful voice.

The opening ceremonies of the Olympics always has some interesting special effects. I really enjoyed it when they lit the torch to begin the games, fantastic!
This has been the most brutal winter here since I can remember. Hopefully, by the end of this month it will finally calm down for good.

I love turkey and dressing, that sounds really good.
When the kids were all home we often watched some of the Olympics.I haven’t watched them in years.

The dressing and gravy are always very salty. It's a Catch-22 when it comes to Meals on Wheels. If I cancel them, I have to find something else to eat.

Yes, you do. You may have to try some other avenues and just take a chance on them. I know that meals produced in large quantities like I am sure your MOW is, are often overly salty.

I didn’t watch the opening ceremony, was Mariah any good? I haven’t heard or seen her for a while. A lovely curvaceous girl with an incredible voice.
