Do you feel better after you eat?

When your energy is low, do you feel better after you eat? When I was a child, I had low blood sugar, so my mom usually carried a granola bar in her purse in case I ever started “powering down” (lol). You know that commercial about being “hangry”, in reference to getting angry when you’re hungry? I’ve never been like that, has anyone else? I just drag when I’m hungry.

Oh gosh, yes! So so much better after eating a meal/snack. Unfortunately, I now have diabetes too, so that doesn't help anything. Yes, low blood sugar certainly can suck, that's for sure

I’m sorry you have diabetes. That really hinders my dad.

@AmbiePam That's ok. The sad part is I am only 35 years old. I believe it was pretty much 50/50 the medications I need to take, and the lifestyle I have lived. Well, that and the disposition I have with genetics as well. I'm sorry that your Dad lives with it, too. It's not something I would wish on anyone.

You wouldn't want to get near me when I'm hungry! I really do get hnagry when I was younger. But not anymore. I don't really get angry when my hungry these days, I just eat and that's it. There was one instance when I was waiting for my boyfriend and I didn't eat at all. He spend his time with friends and seem to have forgotten that time. I didn't eat and I was extremely hungry. So I got so mad. When I finally ate, my stomach couldn't take in the food and I vomited. So I guess eating didn't make me feel better.

@ambiepam Hunger is a wonderful experience when there is seriously good food with which to sate it.

I certainly don't get angry but if I go long enough without food, I sometimes start to feel sick then don't want to eat.

I think I’ve been hangry before, but I wasn’t angry because I was hungry. I was both hungry and angry at something. Sometimes eating can give a boost of energy, but I hate it when I finish a meal and I feel like I cannot breathe because I overate. I like to still feel a little bit hungry when I’m done eating.

Sometimes when work to much I do not eat. Its to stressful to eat. I just want to get this done or fix this problem and you really try to eat, but no, its not going down well. When work is done and finally peace and quiet, the food, you can feel your life force coming back to life.

Yes, especially at mid morning. I feel drained of energy and a meal sets me right.

Yes, I feel so much better after eating. I don’t get angry when I feel hungry but I feel dizzy that is why when I go out I have some dextrose energy candies in my bag just in case I feel like collapsing.

I generally don’t get angry when I get hungry. I just get sleepy.

I basically do the same thing, drag when I'm hungry. When I feel like that, I need to eat something fairly soon.

Never! how can I be angry if I'm already in low energy because I'm hungry. I need to conserved my energy or else I might end up collapsing. Lol!

I would say I get hangry, but I rarely let myself get very hungry, if I am, I am not a happy camper.

Yes, I get shaky and sluggish when I am hungry. I just had to get up and get a couple of pieces of cheese to nibble on, since I've had so little to eat today.
