3/21/26 - Meals

Good morning, Linda! I’m glad cousin #3 is getting off her duff and doing something. The high today is 93 degrees. Which is better than yesterday because it got up to 97 F. Yesterday, I had cream of chicken and wild rice soup, fish, broccoli, and rice.

It’s always nice having a well stocked fridge and pantry. I ate too much yesterday.

I am glad that cousin #3 comes time by time to help you with the groceries. I served raclette cheese with potatoes and dills for lunch and we had white fish fillets with spinach and carrots for dinner.

We're at 68F at 2:30 am and are supposed to see a high of 83F today. We shall see. I ate the rest of the fried chicken with broccoli and cheese sauce for breakfast, ate a chicken and biscuit sandwich for lunch and cut bowls of fresh strawberries for Pretty and I for supper. I have Little Debbies for snacks but haven't been eating them.

I love grocery day and having everything on hand. Hope cousin #3 was able to get everything you needed. Nothing happening here today. The sun peeks out and then hides but at least the temperature isn't too cold. Last night we had burgers (no bun) with rice balls.

Son wanted lasagna Friday so we had that for supper. He ate some for lunch on Saturday. We had chicken salad for dinner. I have chicken soup in the crockpot for Sunday. Yes, my house no doubt smells like chicken!

Well, we were in the 60's and it is windy and dropping. It was warm before church but with the wind it feels cool now. I do not remember from day to day what I eat anymore. Too many snacks, that is for sure.

What is a 'potato poppable'?

I was too exhausted to eat anything last night. So I had hotdog sandwich and fries. Peaches for dessert.

That is good that cousin#3 is coming to help you. Everything you had sounds really good to me.

We had breakfast for dinner. Bacon, eggs and toast.

Overnight in my slow cooker I made sauerkraut with diced tomatoes and a kielbasa. Then today I had tater tots with the sausage and sauerkraut.

We spread some sheep manure on the garden today. Hopefully it will help the plants along.

My weather app says today’s high will be 67 and it will rain in the evening.

I had cinnamon roll pop tarts for breakfast and a glass if milk..Subway 6 inch veggie sub, and homemade pasta sauce with much zuchinni noodles for din.

yesterday we were in the 40's on your scale, today feels a bit more mild. it is raining lightly. Yesterday I had a quick hotdog with some cucumber slices for lunch and we had spaghetti with marinara sauce and a baguette for supper.

We are at 65 now

I made a carbonara yesturday …..it was quite nice. We have eaten it when we have gone out but it was the first time I had actually made it myself.
