Good morning, Linda! I’m glad cousin #3 is getting off her duff and doing something. The high today is 93 degrees. Which is better than yesterday because it got up to 97 F.
Yesterday, I had cream of chicken and wild rice soup, fish, broccoli, and rice.

Cousin #3 is so busy. She works 40 hours or more a week, home schools her two boys and always has some outing going on.
97 is much too warm!!!

@LindaOHio As long as she has good reason…I just don’t like feeling as if you have been neglected.

@AmbiePam I'd rather she just doesn't come than when she cancels on me. She did that several weeks in a row. She'd better not cancel the next 2 weeks because there's no one else to come and help.

@LindaOHio I snack too much when I have nuts. At least they’re healthier than a family size bag of Fritos

We're at 68F at 2:30 am and are supposed to see a high of 83F today. We shall see.
I ate the rest of the fried chicken with broccoli and cheese sauce for breakfast, ate a chicken and biscuit sandwich for lunch and cut bowls of fresh strawberries for Pretty and I for supper.
I have Little Debbies for snacks but haven't been eating them.

@LindaOHio It is supposed to reach 50F today, which would have been fine but, at 1:20 pm it's still only 45F.
It's supposed to rain this afternoon and then drop below freezing tonight.

I love grocery day and having everything on hand. Hope cousin #3 was able to get everything you needed.
Nothing happening here today. The sun peeks out and then hides but at least the temperature isn't too cold.
Last night we had burgers (no bun) with rice balls.

@LindaOHio you were lucky there were no substitutions. I don't generally mind when they have to substitute but it's usually with a more expensive item.

Son wanted lasagna Friday so we had that for supper. He ate some for lunch on Saturday. We had chicken salad for dinner. I have chicken soup in the crockpot for Sunday. Yes, my house no doubt smells like chicken!

I prefer dark meat chicken but son likes the white. If I have a whole chicken, that works out well.

Well, we were in the 60's and it is windy and dropping. It was warm before church but with the wind it feels cool now. I do not remember from day to day what I eat anymore. Too many snacks, that is for sure.
