Cousin #2 called me to tell me that cops with a dog ran through her yard; and a police helicopter was hovering over her property. She had seen some sketchy people with a golf cart early in the morning. Turns out the golf cart was stolen; and the perps were seen running through the woods. She was interviewed by one of the police officers and gave her statement. That was her excitement for the day. Got the first estimate for painting the house - $8,900. About what I expected. Someone else is coming today to give me an estimate. That will give me 3 all together. Breakfast - Granola bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Chicken stew, roll, mixed veggies, apple juice Dessert/Snack - Low salt nuts Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, sweet potato chips, cherries What did you eat yesterday? I ate an apple and a plum for breakfast yesterday, two beef burritos with salsa for lunch and I made pasta with hamburger for supper last night.

That was a frightening event, I am glad the police was there to help. We had spinach and ricotta ravioli for lunch and for dinner I made white fish fillets with potatoes.

Such excitement. I think I might have begun to wonder if the past tenants had left something unlawful in the house. What a estimate. That's some serious coin there.

Gee that sounds pretty scary to find cops running through your yard and a helicopter hovering. Hope they catch the perps. Yesterday I had breakfast out after having my bloodwork done, no lunch and for dinner we had pizza. Not the healthiest choices for one day but it was good

Pizza is always a good choice! The perps are still at large as far as I know.

@Marilynda1225 The cops have the golf cart. The perps painted it blue.

Yesterday was a grazing day and dinner was three beef franks leftover from a BBQ, topped with cheese and salsa. No buns or other stuff. Not the best in food but it was satisfying. Sounds like your cousin had a bit of excitement.

@LindaOHio Lots of changes for her. In all the states I've been to, I still haven't gone to Florida.

I hope her yard wasn’t messed up by the police driving over it. Yesterday, I had Cheerios, Salisbury steak with macaroni and cheese, a pineapple Greek yogurt, and a pear.

They left their cars parked on the road. Just the police and the dog went through the yard.

The usual for lunch, applesauce for the midday snack (told you I’m addicted to that peach chunky applesauce!), and that filled me up so it was just cheese sammich and some hash browns (since I had the electric skillet out) for dinner…with more applesauce.

I suggest you try this; it is so delicious. I baked a chicken thigh wrapped up with a bacon strip. So good.

If the painters do all the power washing and caulking plus painting, that is not a bad price. Of course I don't know how big your house is. Food last night: burrito with brown rice and asparagus stems- end the tops for Easter. Thawed cherries. Later jelly beans.

Yes, they're going to do all that plus they are going to stain rather than paint. He said it will last longer. I have a 4 bedroom ranch. I love jelly beans.

That was a rather frightening event for her and the dog. Glad that she is alright. Last night was baked potatoes, corn, mushrooms and t-bone steaks, obviously my husband cooked as I mentioned that he wanted that meal on the weekend.

Yes it is. It's a bit higher than I thought; but this guy is using stain rather than paint. I don't know if that's the difference. I will see when I get the other quotes.
