Yes, I was MIA again yesterday. I had a virtual appointment with my new doctor. She suggested that I have a sleep apnea test to see if that could have anything to do with my sleep problems. She is also going to wean me off a medication that I've been taking for years because it's not good with my Chronic Kidney Disease. I got accepted at the last minute for a Focus Group @ $100 for 60 minutes. It's been a long time since I was accepted for one. I should receive my reward in a couple of months. Oil prices have taken a big plunge. I wonder if we will see the change at the pump??? 9/5/26 Breakfast - Granola bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Sloppy Joe, sweet potatoes, broccoli Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, sweet potato chips, cherries 9/6/26 Breakfast - Granola bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, carrots, cranberry juice Dessert/Snack - Brownie, low salt nuts Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, no salt chips, cherries What did you eat yesterday? We all could go for a break at the pump. The cause is worth it, IMO of course, but it still hurts. Fingers crossed. For dinner I made chicken burritos. Yummy stuff.

@LindaOHio Shocking, hey? lol By the way, your dates are wonky in the title for this one, and it carried inside the post as well.

I had a toasted bagel for lunch. We had nice homemade whole wheat bread sandwiches with fresh deli sliced meats and cheese for supper along with a nice big dill pickle each. Yesterday gas jumped here. We are nearing $2/L which is insane as we are just innocent casualties in this current war, but then so is most of the other countries in this world. The prices are having a ripple effect on prices on goods sold, due to the cost of transportation.

@LindaOHio We took a little drive today out of the city to an area near the reservation, and got our gasoline there. It was about .50 cheaper per L. It was worth the drive, plus we had the babies with us, and they sang the entire way there and back. I love to hear their little voices singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Hopefully the price at the pump will begin to drop.

Price of gas is still going up here, I hope it reverses soon. Last night we had leftovers. Weiners with chili, potato salad and sauerkraut. There are lots of medicines that people start and are told to just keep taking it and it is not good for them. My sister had a couple that she took like that.

Hope they can help you, but sleep apnea tests are ridiculous. They put you in a strange bed, tie you up with 50,000 probes, then say, “sleep normally.” The usual for lunch, and a Boca burger smothered in Ragu chunky sauce on bread for dinner. Applesauce! Yogurt! Fiber!

@JudyEv — I hope the setup is better than the last one I had. With all this wearable technology (my watch tells me how I slept every night) it shouldn’t be that bad.

I wonder how you can sleep with all that stuff on you. I'm sure I couldn't.

With everything else going on and prices rising, I am so glad I no longer have a car. I had tater tots and a pork sausage patty.

Big plunge sounds awesome. I guess we will have to stay tuned. Do you wake up choking? That is a sign of sleep apnea.

I hope to see the price at the pump go down. I doubt for the moment because nothing is sure and signed.

Gas is still $3.96 a gallon here. I ate beef stroganoff for breakfast, raw sweet onions and raw red bell pepper yesterday and didn't eat lunch or supper last night.

I hope she can find a way to help you sleep. Gas won't go down as fast as it went up

I hope you take that sleep apnea test to see if that's what's causing your sleeping problems. Not getting enough or good sleep affects us in so many ways, Glad you got accepted for the focus group Last night we had breaded chicken strips, baked potatoes and green beans,

I’ve never done focus groups before. How do you even find them?

Well hopefully they can figure it out... and hopefully getting off that medication helps. 100$ for an hour? That's not bad.

I had chicken tenders yesterday. I splurged (too many carbs) for our anniversary lunch. They were really good.

I had noodles and soup as I'm still on a soft diet. I come off it tomorrow but I'll be easing into other solids gently.
