Got my first good look at the paint job on the house. I hate the color. Looks nothing like the sample.
SIL and I went to Longhorn Steakhouse yesterday (today is her birthday). We had an excellent meal and a good time.
It's going to be in the 90s starting on Tuesday; so there will be no painting. Something to do with the type of paint mixed with extreme heat.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Longhorn Steakhouse- Strawberry pecan salad, Parmesan crusted chicken, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, bread
I put my Meals on Wheels lunch in the fridge; and I will have it today.
Dessert/Snack - Chocolate Stampede (Ice cream and a decadent chocolate cake)
Dinner - None

Yeah. We have a heat wave this weekend too. Sorry to hear the paint color is not to your liking. I guess it is what it is. I find paint rarely matches the sample, but it's usually pretty close.
For dinner I had leftover pork loin roast, so I figured it was a good time to make a batch of pork fried rice, so that's what I did.

That's a bummer you don't like the color. That's not good.
That's nice you enjoyed the meal and time with her.
chicken and potatoes do sound good, and that dessert.

Sorry about the paint color. 
I went to Mark’s for a chicken & cheese-stuffed baked potato for lunch, and I had grilled cheese and gazpacho for dinner. Applesauce and fiber!

That is a shame that the colour differed so much from the sample.
They should have painted a spot near the door so that you could see it and approve it.
Its great that you enjoyed a meal out together like that.
Last night I made steak tips, mushrooms, potatoes and asparagus.
The asparagus season has been a good one this year.

I do not remember yesterday. I think in the evening I ate some leftovers of a chicken stir fry with peanut sauce. I snacked a lot on cheese sticks, Lara Bar "cashew cookie" flavor.Breakfast was sausage patties and eggs.

man, i love strawberries. i had cordon blue again and today, i will have some steamed beef stakes with steamed carrots. sorry about the colour. when my kitchen cabinets came; they were more blue and on the photo, they were green but the staff said it's the same colour. i kept them but it's not the same colour.

No. It cost $8,900 to paint. I don't want to pay that amount again.
