Flowers for Yvonne.
Not from me but from a neighbour a few days before her birthday actually grown in her own garden.
She gave them to Yvonne early as she was going away on holiday
And now they are in bloom as they were not blooming when Yvonne got them
They were like sticks lol
These flowers are Alstroemeria, commonly known as Peruvian Lilies. The bouquet features the or "Indian Summer" variety which are known for their vibrant orange and yellow colors. They are popular for their long vase life, often lasting a long time after being cut. While beautiful, they are considered toxic to cats, potentially causing gastrointestinal issues.
So we won't eat.them

I'm not much of a flower lover but these are very lovely indeed.

@Ineeddentures - I have always asked to my husband not to bring me bouquets of flowers, because I feel sad when they die and they never last long.

They really are Eva.
Yvonne took some of the sticks lol and put them in soil hoping to grow a root.
I think she might just do it
She has green fingers

That was so thoughtful of your neighbor and how pretty those flowers bloomed.

They are nice.
I wonder if they will last a wee while before the flowers drop off

"Please don't eat the daisies" or any other toxic ornamental plant. They are lovely. Happy Birthday to Yvonne.

That was a lovely gift and even better that they’ve bloomed right around Yvonne’s birthday. It’s funny how they looked like nothing at first and then suddenly come to life like that.

Those are very pretty. I think here they're also called Alice and Mary as it's a bit close to Alstroemeria and easier to say.
