Yellow Skies for Miles..

At least it is just yellow there, and you can see further than we can. The thick of the plume of smoke is in my area. It has travelled far. Yesterday and today there is an orange glow to everything, and it smells like you are at a campground, the stench of burning wood is very strong. The majority of this poor air will not pass our region until Sunday, they predict, which is alot of days in, no construction work or day camps or other outdoor activities. No drive through take out windows.........

oh no. I hope there will be rain there

A myLotter from Canada told me this morning that they are a very bad air quality because of the wild fires.

I hope you get a good rainstorm that cleans the air for you. Good luck to you and your family! I live in Southern Missouri and haven't smelled smoke yet. Last year and the year before that, we smelled smoke from the Canadian fires all summer long.

This sounds really bad. Vince has friends in Canada who have been sending photos of the orange skies with a red ball of sun in the middle.

Makes for some dreary days. Not getting that here where I am, thankfully.

I think we are even seeing this in Kansas. Not smelling it, quite, but I wake up to yellow skies. We did have a little section of rain.

We are affected here but the skies aren't yellow .just overcast

It's not that bad here but it is affecting our air.

I have put prayers in for all concerned and in path of those fires, So sorry for the wildlife,

It's horrible and it's going to be more and more of a problem as the years go by.

I really hope you get some relief. My dad and his wife went on a trip, and the closer they get to their destination the worse the sky looks from those fires.
