Something is Wrong

So something happened, and it isn’t good. When I asked about someone’s welfare, I was told something went wrong, but it’s a long story. I should just know this person is getting help.
Now my mind is going every which way! I’m thinking terrible things happened, but I don’t exactly think it’s okay to say, “hey, I love them, and I think you should tell me what happened because now anxiety is overwhelming me, just imagining”. That would be rude and selfish.
So I’m just praying, and hope someone tells me it’s not as bad as I thought.

Without knowing exactly what is going on I think that would make me really stressed and anxious. Hope it's not as bad as you're imagining.

I understand why you are anxious. I pray with you that when you do know all the details it will not be as bad as you are imagining.

That would worry me, too. I think I'd just tell the person that I'd prefer to know what happened so I'd know whether I should worry about my friend or not myself... If they know you well enough to tell you that much, they should know you well enough to tell you what happened, in my opinion.
I'm just going to mention something to you and tell you everything is okay. I had trouble walking to and from the bathroom today. I had to ask Pretty to get up and help me back to my bedroom... I got up and my legs started wobbling. I had to lean on my bed, the doors and the headboard of my bed to walk to the bathroom. I almost fell turning around in the bathroom so asked for help. Pretty brought me back and helped me into bed. When I got up later to go to the restroom again, I was still having problems walking so I told her I needed my cane from the living room. She brought it to me and I parked it beside the rocking chair in my bedroom. I hang onto a bookcase and the bedroom wall to get that far in my bedroom anyway.

@AmbiePam She's making a journal listing problems, like the headaches and the falls... Really, I'm fine

I would tell you not to fret and make yourself sick unless you can find out exactly what happened,

Oh, I hate not knowing what's going on. But like you, I wouldn't want to be pushy or nosy about it. One thing I know, though, is that you usually do find out eventually. Maybe there is someone else you could ask...

I hate when situations like that happen, I hate when people don't give me the whole story, because my mind plays all different kinds of scenarios. My husband has gotten me worked up by saying we have to talk about something later, and he KNOWS I have anxiety, so I start thinking of every scenario known to man, only for it to be something like he picked up overtime. I hope the situation you're worrying about isn't as bad as you think it is. Sometimes I feel like people want the kind of attention that comes with not telling you the situation. I know some situations are sensitive, and I always try to respect that, but my anxiety needs answers for me to be able to sleep at night. Sometimes the only thing we can do is say a prayer and leave it in God's hands. I've been trying to do that a lot lately, but it's difficult when you struggle with anxiety. I hope it's not as bad as you think, and the person is ok or will be soon.

KIt is hard to hear something like that, and not know what it is.

I know that it’s painful for someone you love to say “I have an urgent, unspoken prayer request.” Everything in your mind goes haywire.
Praying for them…and you!
