DE @programmerprimo It really is a lot of fun... I was really shy in school but forced myself to be more outgoing... I've always gotten jobs in customer service, so had to become outgoing to make my living. Thanks.

The feeling of not getting an email or call for an interview, or when you do get an interview, you dont hear good news. Its really disheartening. Anyone have any advice for someone in a job hunt?

Jim Bauer @programmerprimo The key here is that everyone will be unemployed from time to time, so having an emergency fund really helps to replace the lost income. If one can get unemployment benefits, it just gives you more time before you have to hit the emergency...

DE @programmerprimo I raised and sold several different species of fish, ghost shrimp and cherry shrimp. I made good money selling them until the downturn in 2008. Now I just keep some fishies for my own enjoyment.

DE @programmerprimo I see... Most of the time I called in sick it was because my eyes had swelled shut. I didn't need to sound groggy for that.

DE @programmerprimo I agree, that rarely happens. Usually, the person just hangs up. I'm sure a lot of the time they figure out what they're doing wrong and are too ashamed to admit it.
