I was researching Thomas Kinkade this morning and I ended up putting one of his pics as my desktop wallpaper. I love his pictures. They are so realistic, they make me think that I could step right into them. I have several that are favorites and I think I’d like to get some to hang in our home. He really is an extremely talented artist. Do you own any Thomas Kinkade pics? What do you think of his art? Would you ever buy any to hang in your home? What’s your favorite kind of jelly? I love strawberry jelly with crunchy peanut butter on soft bread. ~~I AM WHO I AM~~ **STANDING STRONG IN MY BELIEFS**

Thomas Kinkade - Winter pic from Thomas KinKade
Oh yes twoeye I love his pics. When you look at one it is like being there. I have two that I got at a yard sale for only an $1. The lady didn't know what she had. They are pretty good size. Im not sure what the size is but they are bigger than an 11x14.I would like to get more of his pics if I could afford them. Good discussion and you have a nice day. Keep smiling.

Wow did you ever make out. One of his re-prints that size in a Thomas Kinkade Photo Gallery is worth several hundred dollars, depending on what it is and condition. If you have one of the Sweetheart Cottage collection and you were fortunate enough to get an original, if you do run do not walk to the nearest lottery because you can't loose, you have a painting worth over $100,000. Highly unlikely you do but depending on the condition what you do have is valuable.

I love Thomas Kinkade's painting. They are so beautiful but to expensive to buy. I have so many that I like for instance teh Sweetheart Cottage II, Christmas Memories, The Hidden Cottage, Victorian Christmas III, and the Blessings of Christmas. These pictures are so beautiful but any picture of his would be a wonderful thing to have.

While the paintings are expensive to buy, you can buy a 1000 piece jigsaw rather cheaply and they look great when glued down as a painting.

Hi Twoey. Yes, I love Thomas Kinkade paintings. I have several of his paintings as 1000 piece jigsaws and also 2 Collections each with 10 puzzles. I think it is a touching gesture that he honours his wife by adding the letter "N" (Nancy) to every painting, usually on a door or post or letter box or in the gable of the house - fun to find. Jelly? I presume you mean what we call jam. I don't really eat it, but my preference would be ginger or blackcurrant or apricot or pineapple.

Here, in the U.S., jelly isn't the same as jam. The first is clearer, while the other is deeper, opaque. Both are yummy. I did not know about that N! I'm now going to look at every one of his paintings I can; I love to find things! Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

I would definitely buy one of his pictures. I have seen some and they are all that you say. I really like J. Wall's work. It is lovely. My favorite jam is one that my grandmother used to make. It was a certain plum with walnuts in it. Almost like a butter spread. It was so good!

I Love his work, and would Love to own a couple of his paintings to display around my house some day. I do have a Bible though that has a lot of his work in, and I treasure that for sure. Some of my favorites of his has to be the ones with Cottages or Lighthouses. My husband loves his work as well, and you can spot a Kincaide from anywhere. I would Love to meet him someday if I could as well.

Okay, I'd like to learn more about Thomas Kinkade. Any direct links to his art? On the other hand why'd you mention peanut butter and jelly? It's completely out of context and makes no sense. Well, it's good that you are who you are and that you're true to yourself, it doesn't get much more real than that. dr...

He is an amazing artist. I do not have any of his paintings, but my husband's sister and brother in law do. I've also been to his gallery in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. (Just out of Alberquerque) My inlaws lived there for several years. Going to the studio where he actually worked in the back of his gallery was pretty cool!

I love his work. I actually wouldn't call them realistic. Real life isn't as delicately pretty, lol. I love the way he shows light and his subjects are always so quaint and lovely. I would love some Thomas Kinkade prints to hang on my walls. And my favorite kind of jelly is also strawberry. :)

Yes, I do like Thomas Kinkades' work. I have some of his pictures in my home and on my desktop. I really do like his work but there are many others that I like too. So, I try to switch out my desktop at least three times a month. That is why I get different pics for my many different moods. Also, I love decorating it with different icons too. Do you like to decorate your desktop and if you do, what do you do? Do you like changing your icons? Do you get your icons off the internet or do you make your own icons? What kind of pics and icons do you have on your computer? Do you eat at your computer desk more then you eat at your kitchen table? **Peace and Love get's you through everything in Life**

Ok, I am trying to figure out how jelly connects to talking about art and Thomas Kinkade? The name sounds familiar but I can not say that I have definitely seen the art work before.

I think he is a great artist and his pictures bring a certain mood out in you. I wouldn't have any of his art in my home as it doesn't interest me in that way. But I have been to a gallery of his work. It was very nice. The place was dimmed so the lights on the work made them stand out so you could just focus on the one that was in front of you. And it was scented so wonderfully inside. The work really brings out the mood that he is portraying. I love his Christmas/winter themed stuff as I don't get snow where I live and even if I did it would never be like in his paintings. I love raspberry jelly, no seeds, and crunchy peanut butter. BUt my favourite thing to eat is a toasted bagel, with cream cheese on one side and then rapsberry jelly on the other, put it together and mmmm! Sometimes I sprinkle a bit of cinnamon too! Also is great on an English Muffin!

How does Thomas Kinkade relate to peanut butter and jelly? Love his work, but feel he is somewhat over promoted. I would greatly enjoy a day by day calendar with his work. I would love to step into some of the pictures. Go enjoy a PBJ sandwich for me.

My aunt and MIL are both fans of Thomas Kinkade. We have Thomas Kinkade Puzzles, Throws, Pictures, Coasters, Books, Night Lights and Boxes in the house! He is a very good painter though I will admit, I enjoy looking at the pictures as they are so peaceful! Once my husband and I obtain our own place though, I do seriously doubt if we will have Thomas Kinkade items as we are more into western decor such as horse shoes and horses!

Hiya twoey, Love Thomas Kinkaide and his Paintings they are so full of light and very spiritual for me. Yes they are very realistic too. I don´t own any of them but I would not mind having one or two around here. He knows how to capture the light and shade very well and he is very talented too as you say. Also like Gilbert William´s Paintings too. xxx
