Where Did The Time Go?

time really flies so fast these days. it seems that December had just passed and we are into the 'ber' months again. Sometimes i can't help pondering that life is really too short that before we realize it, it's now end of the journey hence we should try to value and make the most out of every moment God has given us here on earth.

In the UK we seem to try and cram everything into the one month, so it does fly past, so busy doing things or getting ready to do things there's hardly time to breathe. We have to make use of any good weather we get, it's already turing autumnal, the sun is not so warm as even a couple of weeks ago. Don;t blink or it'll be christmas :)

Great, you met a goal, that is wonderful... As for the other one, yep, don't beat yourself up over it, goals are not meant to be written in stone, but rather a guidelines to follow. For example I thought within 2 if not 3 weeks after my winter quarter I would have finished revising my book, and it was my goal. Instead, here it is, spring came and left and summer is almost gone and I am 100 pages short of finishing..I think I can get it done before the next semester though, because now I will have a copyright on my work and I have a couple friends reading it, helping em to find mistakes or places I am not clear about. I already have the first 10 chapters done on that part, so the time may be soon when I start getting active in publishing it..:)

My September is going to be quite busy, tomorrow is my honeys Birthday, next week Thursday I go on vacation, my mom will be here that Friday and then her Birthday is on Sunday and our 10 year anniversary is on the 27th....busy busy busy, I'm sure that month will fly by

I know, the time has gone by super quickly. Unfortunately for me I haven't got as many things done as I would like but I think that was more a case of unrealistic planning. But more that the things i've done this month I value the person that I've been able to spend most of August with on what has been a really really good holiday. It'll be September soon, I see that as a new opportunity, another chance to make the most of a month and spend it the way I want to.

this summer seemed to have flew by me for some reason. i can't believe its over! my kids will be starting school on Tuesday and with one going off to college, it has been busy getting her ready and organized. i am looking forward to September for a rest! lol!

Hi KrauseHome, I agree with you, the time goes very fast and it's hard to believe that it's the end of August.We have had a beautiful summer here and September is usually a good month as well, not hot but warm. The children return to school next week and for most people,vacation time is over. Blessings.

Got layoff notice in June, it's now August. Where did the time go?

There were some things that I wanted to get finished before the end of August. However, that didn't happen. So, that will mess with the time frame for some other stuff for later in the year. I do know where the time went, though. The cats ate it...

I feel that way exactly, too! I feel like time passes too quickly and my infinite to do list gets longer and longer.. I feel like I haven't DONE anything this summer - and although it has been uneventful it still has flown by! And I'm not ready for snow.

I know, August went crazy fast. My daughter started school much earlier this year - in mid-August - so it was a short summer vacation for her. And once school starts, we're always on the go go go - so from day to evening to the next day, it goes way too fast. Yes, let's hope we all have a good September (can things slow down a bit then, pleeeeeeeeeeese????)!!

I hate to see summer come to a close! I hate winter and it seems like I am cold all of the time. Maybe that's why it seems to go so fast. We really only have 2 months of summer, so that probably has something to do with it also. I hope September is better for you and your wound issues!

Hi there KrauseHome. Time flies as they say and now September is fast approaching. I'd have to say that there are some things that I wish I could have had more time doing in August and also wished that not too many heavy rains invaded our place. It just felt like I could have done more especially with an event that I helped prepare a couple of weeks ago. This month was a really busy and stressful one for me and I wish that I could have panned out my schedule in such a way that I would have done more and had more time for myself. Anyway, there's always a next month and I can't wait to start anew and begin doing things that I have planned and set out to do for this month. Enjoy and good wishes on September.

I agree that it has flown by. My son is having surgery the end of September and there is so much for us to get taken care of before he goes in, and it is just going so fast. He turned 18 and since he is disabled there is so much that needs done, just for that reason.

Tina I was thinking the same thing when I realized that September was just around the corner. Time flies more quickly the older you get! I just turned 55, was going to say I celebrated but that would be lying! I have much to do before the snow flies. Ugh, wish it would slow down. I do enjoy warmer weather!

No since I knew I would be moving on Sept 1, the month dragged on. But in general at my age all times pass by ever so quickly

It is amazing that summer raced by. I had intentions of getting much more done then I did....but considering my whole summer got turned outside down with my DIL suddenly wanting a divorce.....that turned into a whole bunch of things I didn't plan on doing like selling our camper....helping my son move and get settled....just to name a few.

It has been a quick month! Me and the kids have been savoring the summer with a lot of weekend activities that even though I wanted to get back to my regular active self here, I hardly couldn't find the time. Maybe this September when the kids are back in school I could participate some more here.
