My son is getting married on a farm....where did you get married or plan to?

My first wedding was in a church, and my last one was outside at Hurricane Shoals State Park. That was nice. I got married right at the foot of the wooden bridge. It was decorated so pretty.We had our reception in the gazebo.

This sounds lovely ctry..how very nice for your son and you of course..it will be so fun huh?
Me? I have been married everytime in the city hall and once in a bar..imagine..and not one of the marriages deserved a better setting LOL quite appropriate for all of them heheheheh ctry..(((ctry))))xoxooxox
When I was a young girl, I always dreamed of a beautiful wedding in the Catholic church that I was raised in..I know now this is never going to happen. I am okay with that.

We got married in a small wooden Anglican church on a hill overlooking Porirua Bay/Harbor in a small town in Wellington, NZ. It was beautiful. There were old well kept tombstones on the left side of the church and lots of trees and beautiful flowers. The carpark was down below and you had to walk up to the church. It was just the right size for the amount of people we had there, around 80 in total.

First marriage, home church, reception in the fellowship hall. I was widowed, then my second marriage, we got married, invitation only in the church parlor. I decorated with potted plants and silk flowers. We even had a children's choir sing. We hosted a reception at a place called The Hickory Tree--an old schoolhouse converted to an all you can eat barbecue place.

We held our wedding at my best friends home, it was gorgeous with fresh flowers everywhere, a archway that was gorgeous, a fountain in there built in pool with candles floating around lit up of course. There was tulle everywhere and bells hung. It was the best thing a friend could have done for us.
The farm sounds beautiful too, i wish them luck.

I was married at the court house and my youngest son was married at a park. It was on my birthday. They kept it as a surprise. It was a double wedding with a friend of my daughter-in-laws. They had a small reception in the park too. They were dressed in blue jeans and cowboy boots. My son is a working cowboy. The place that your son has chosen sounds beautiful. I'm surprised that they don't have the wedding in the spring when all the trees are in full bloom.

I always wanted to get married under a beuatiful willow tree that was on the bank on the Thames in England, but instead in was in a registry office as my husband had already been married before so we couldn't in a church at the time. Can't see myself ever getting married again, but near where I live now there is abeautiful stream with willow tress and I often walk along there and find it peaceful. Ellie:D

IF I ever get married again it will be a quick Vegas wedding. I've already 'been there done that' with the big expensive wedding. I should have saved the money for when I became single..lol..Lori

that sounds so cool! i wanted to get married in the spring or summer on the beach, but i ended up getting married in the fall at a church~sigh~

We had the most beautiful wedding! The whole thing, including my dress cost 600.00! We got married in the gardens at the garden club and had the reception inside their hall. I did all of the cooking myself. I made food from all different countries and everyone loved it. I even bought beer and wine. There was even a lot left over at the end.
