Many stories had been published about the torturing of prisoners at the Guantanamo prison cell.But Obama got majority votes to be the President of USA. There is no bar in American constitution for an African American to be a President.But Obama is the first such President.

Yes I'm also expecting Obama will create more history.

That depends on who you ask. Many liberals claim he's "brown". He and Condi Rice can't REALLY be black because they're conservative. Bush actually had a VERY multiracial administration and he wasn't the only president to appoint minorities. People are just trying to pump Obama up by ignoring such facts.

If Obama is not the natural born citizen of America how he got nomination for the President candidate?The Republicans also did not challenge that.I admit that Judiciary is not the part of Administration.But Obama is trying to bring change in both the sides.I know something about American history.The black Africans were the slaves of white settlers of America.I saw the film "The Roots".That is the picture of torture over the black slaves by the white masters.But the things have changed.Now the white Americans are very liberal.That outlook made Obama the President of the most powerful nation of the world.

There have been no fewer than 9 court cases filed that challenge Obama's claim to citizenship and which the courts have refused to hear, so that Obama has never been forced to produce his actual birth certificate. There is a question as to whether Obama, whose father was not a US citizen, was born on US soil.

As to the multi-racial administration, many presidents before Obama have appointed people of minorities to positions of power. To say that anyone opposes Obama because of his race rather than his policies is insulting. I would disagree with his policies just as strenuously if he were of any other race.

Bringing up slavery is just another attempt at a low-blow. The US has moved on from that sad era to another that guarantees the rights of all regardless of ethnic or racial background. The same cannot be said of all modern societies, for instance, the caste system is still intact in much of India.

I have every right to disagree with any and every policy of any president regardless of his race. History should record that we voted for the right president regardless of race, not that we voted for the wrong one because of his race.

I strongly doubt that Obama is an American citizen. I will never believe it unless he is forced to prove it, which seems unlikely.

Yes once history will judge whether Obama is right or wrong.We have read in the newspapers about the torture over the prisoners in the Guantanamo Bay. There are some innocent prisoners also. Yes sometimes Supreme Court of all countries give controversial judgments.

Torture???... please those prisoners have it easy. Our men and women in service went through more in training exercises... including waterboarding in the past... and only three of the worse prisoners was that enhanced interrigation method used on... and we give those guys a nice bed and out door rec. and art class! Gitmo is nicer than the prisons on U.S. soil. Many of those guys we still have because although they have been cleared for release the only countries willing to take them would execute them. It's all been blown out of proportion and all this classified information that has been released has only made Americans look bad and put soldiers like my husband at risk.

The Rasmussen poll found that 49 percent of voters (percent has been growing larger since January) nationwide disagreed with Obamas executive order to close the Guantanamo bay prison wanting it to stay open, which currently houses 240 people suspected of being Al-Qaeda members, while 38 percent agree with his decision. A majority of voters, 58 percent, disagree with the Obama administrations plans to transfer some suspected terrorists to super-maxiumum security prisons in the US, to face trial for their alleged terror acts. Only 28 percent supported the detainee transfers.

The more I learn about this woman the more I worry. Is there any way to even impeach a Supreme Court Justice if need be?... It is a big deal because we could have this person for the next 15 years or more. 5-4 supreme court vote is all it took to classify CO2 as a pollutant... I guess we better all stop breathing. But then without carbon dioxide there would be no plant or human life.

I don't know if a Supreme court judge can be impeached but I'm a firm believer in "what goes around comes around". If she's not fair and balanced and works toward the fall of our freedoms and our constitution, she'll get hers in the end.

Everybody has the the right to get justice.The prisoners of Guantanamo are not getting the scope to face trial. President Obama is trying to do that. If Obama continues to do mistake and mistake he will be out of thrown.Let us see what happens.
