Are You Voting Republican Due To the Passing of Healthcare Reform?  

I really wont know how I am voting until I see all of the information. I cant say it will be Republican, Democrat, Independent or otherwise. I think it is too soon to gauge. I do plan to vote out all incumbents. I think our Congress needs to remember that it is a Government OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people.

I am already one and still not sure if vote democratic this fall like I did when Obama was running president. I vote democratic for the first time that year. Not sure if I will ever do that again.

I'm a Republican but I don't always vote along party lines. I vote for the better candidate based on issues that are important to me, my community, my state and/or my country.

I'm writing in my father's name on every ballot for the rest of my life. True story.

I'm sick to death of the right vs. left BS. All I want are politicians with a healthy dose of common sense and honor enough to do what they say instead of pandering to special interest and trying to keep their popularity up by playing all sides when it's convenient.

Some of my father's political slogans:

Don't spend money if you don't have money!

If you don't have the cash saved up, it's not worth buying.

Work for a living!

Stop crying, for fu$&'s sake!

Scold Brutus for killing Caesar all you want, it still doesn't change the fact that it's ancient history.

Believing you must earn a good life makes you driven. Believing someone owes it to you makes you bitter.

The more people we have practicing personal responsibility, the less crazies we have running around begging for more restrictions on freedoms.

Big business is corrupt. So is government. The difference being that we can put one out of business by not shopping there. The other forces citizens to be paying customers.

People brought up with a competitive nature will naturally flock to free market principles. Coddled kids who weren't allowed to play in the dirt spend the rest of their lives electing mothers to give marching orders.

Many more pearls of wisdom that I can't remember right now. But there have been thousands over my lifetime.

And I've liked every single one a heck of a lot better than "I just wanna spread the wealth around." OOFAH!

I won't decide who to vote for til I see who all is running. I am not happy with either of the two major parties right now. So who knows who I will vote for.

I would vote for my dog before I would vote for a left wing progressive democrat,All my family will vote against every democrat in office at this time come November 2,2010.
I will be looking for a tea party conservative kind of a republican candidate.
We only have two parties I'm forced to vote for the lesser of the two evils,There may be a few good third party candidates but in my opinion the majority of the voters are not ready to make that call and November 2010 is far to important of a election to throw my vote because the future of my county lays in the balance....

I've been a Republican from the time I first registered to vote at 18. There is no way possible that you're going to find me with a "D" on my voter registration card, and for a lot more reasons than just the health care bill passing.

You talk about violence. Might I say that the Democrats have planted their own people inside these Tea Party rallies to spit on the Congressmen, thus making the good citizens who are peacefully protesting look bad? The true Tea Party attendees want nothing to do with any sort of violence.

One of the major reasons I voted for Obama was that he promised to try to institute healthcare reform. Attempts were made by many presidents including Teddy Roosevelt, Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton. They gave it a whirl but Barack Obama did it and for that alone, he has my vote in the next presidential election.

I vote for candidates, not parties. I'm not a single issue voter either so I wouldn't vote for someone based solely on their opposition to the Obama care bill.

I am not American so cannot vote, but if I were, I would vote Republican because of Obama trying to turn America into a socialist state, his choice of cabinet members,his anti-Christian pollcies, his silence on his college years, and his background (what does he have to hide) and because if someone is elected in part because he uses the race card and those of his ethnic group vote for him in spite of the suspicion that he might not be a natural born Us citizen.
