Anna @MarshaMusselman - It is too dangerous to drive when there is ice on the roads. We need to go grocery shopping, but I told my husband that we go in the afternoon, when the ice has melted and the temperature is warmer.

Loretta @MarshaMusselman I hope you are still safe and warm. It's scary to drive in ice. I've had to. I prefer snow or rain. Once, I spun out on the I-40 just on the other side of Flaggstaff. Traffic went to a stand still. I got lucky and landed off in a "field."

DE @MarshaMusselman Yes, we can have temperature extremes all year round. My city is on a plateau in the foothills of the Ozark mountains. We have significant temp swings even compared to Springfield, only 50 miles away.

DE @MarshaMusselman I want some things but we don't need them. We have high winds (25 to 35 mph right now) and I'd rather not drive in that. My car still needs a jumpstart, too. I can't get that done on a weekend.

DE @MarshaMusselman I used to live on peaches during their season. I'd buy them by the bushel basket and eat them all day long. Blueberries are okay. But I never ate them like I will other fruit.
