Anna OH NO! That is too bad. Hire a lawyer, that person needs to pay for the damages but also stop damaging. Usually condominiums have an insurance in case of a person who rent an apartment causes damages. Ask a lawyer to check.

Fleur I am sorry to hear that. Shared properties can be difficult to deal with. Our lodgers are having exactly the same problem with their apartment in Italy and they are not getting any useful responses either!

Judy Evans I can imagine none of the heirarchy wanting to talk to you. I hope you stick to your guns. Is there a renters' agency/union that would help if push comes to shove? Maybe the Ombudsman? Good luck with it all. That's really bad news.
