Saying Good-bye to Gizmo

Yesterday was not a very happy day here in our house.
Our dog Gizmo took a turn for the worse and last night we had to say good-bye. We knew the time was coming but it still didn't make it easy.
It's heartbreaking saying good-bye to a pet and I know many of you here have had the same experience.
Gizmo was a great dog and he will be missed

RIP, Gizmo!
I could not talk about Misty without having my eyes water for over a year. She wasn´t my pet, she was my friend.

I know exactly how you feel. Gizmo was with us for 13 years and my eyes are red from crying. I know it will take time

Gizmo was such a docile pup and didn't even complain even though we knew he was sick. I know he's not in pain anymore but I will certainly miss him

Even though we knew he was declining it still was hard to say good-bye. He was 13 and gave us so many love filled years.

Losing a pet we love is very difficult. They are part of our family, and it's a great loss. It always rips me up when that happens, it's just so hard to realize they are gone and not in our day to day lives. You shared love with Gizmo. Again, I'm so sorry.

So very sorry for your loss. You are right it is very hard to say goodbye especially as they become members of our family. I have been there myself; I know how hard it will be when the time comes for our 2 boys that are 11 and 10 this year.

I am so sorry.. It is going to be hard adjusting for all. Maybe you could give another deserving dog a home when your heart has healed a bit.
