Sorry I was MIA this morning. After 48 hours of no sleep, I managed to catch some Zzzzs this morning.
Cousin #3 is supposed to be here at 4 pm tomorrow!!! I have a lot for her to do.
I was so sorry to hear about Brian Wilson's passing. It's sad that so many artists from my era are leaving us.
The guy came yesterday to look at my weeds. He suggested mulch or stones. I may bite the $ bullet and go for the stones since he says they will keep the weeds down for a longer time along with spraying. I don't like the spraying because of a chipmunk that lives in the flower bed. Maybe he will find another home.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - BBQ chicken breast, green beans, mac and cheese, mixed veggies, pears/peaches, corn muffin - This was a BIG meal; and I didn't even eat the bread and milk included.
Dessert/Snack - Blueberry muffin, string cheese
Dinner - Buffalo chicken/Provolone sandwich, tortilla chips, ice cream bar
What did you eat yesterday?

I was wondering where you were at. I'm glad you got some sleep.
We had a house inspection today. It went well.
Uhm... I think I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, part of a banana and a bowl of watermelon for lunch and a ham and cheese sandwich for late supper.

Me too. I don't know what is causing this sleep problem. It's been like this for several years now.

@LindaOHio If you were able to use the black plastic, you might be able to use a cheaper material on top.

I'll ask him. The stone is going to be VERY expensive.

Is it possible that cousin #3 might have a friend who could be there when she is there with you, two sets of hands get more accomplished than one, and she would be a buffer for the situation and maybe it will speed things up a bit! Just an idea.

The friend that I thought of is very pregnant. I can ask her if any of her other friends are interested in working. Thanks.

I just know that you need more help than you currently have. I hope maybe she can think of someone else to work along with you and with her, to help you.

I do not remember. Hot dogs, I think. Pea salad with bell pepper, onions, and celery. I am glad you got some sleep.

I agree with you. I won’t use pesticides because of the squirrels and birds in my backyard.
I had lunch at the new Chuy’s in Evansville (chicken taco, of course), and dinner was a chicken sub at Subway, with Baked Lays and some watermelon I got at Kroger.

Stones are definitely better. If only those pesky weeds would die and never come back.

@LindaOHio Once my mom called a landscaper. They did her back yard and put something (a tarp or whatever that is) underneath the rocks and weeds still made their way through.

Getting sleep is good, very needed after that long.
Sounds like an interesting meal - your lunch.
We got Artic Circle for lunch (chicken strips and fries) ~ very expensive for their food!
For dinner I had a cheese noodle bowl

Glad you were able to recharge and rejuvenate. We all need that from time to time.
For dinner it was hamburgers (again) on the grill with macaroni salad and coleslaw on the side. Later on we dropped my wife's cousin, Lorie, at the airport and all should be back to normal now.
