Still no call from cousin #3. I hope everything is OK.
Several people have asked me if my husband has come to me in a dream yet. I've had 3 nightmares concerning him. They were awful. Two nights ago I had a nice but disturbing dream about him...We were together and I was so happy; but I was also disturbed because he was still dead. I told him that his being with me made his death much easier to bear which made no sense at all. How could he be back with me and still be dead? Weird.
Well, here's a surprise. More lab results came back; and I have a UTI. Didn't even have any symptoms. My PCP has ordered a prescription for me. Sigh.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - PB&J sandwich and chips
Dessert/Snack - Apple cinnamon muffin
Dinner - Frozen Salisbury steak and mashed potato bowl
What did you eat yesterday? Did you do anything fun over the weekend?

We have doctor appointments in the morning for blood draws and I'll have to ask the doctor about getting an x-ray on my hip. The sciatica is still with me but just when I first stand up and start walking and then it goes away.
I ate a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast and ate some of the baked chicken, potatoes and onions for supper and put the rest into a plastic bowl in the fridge to clear some space. Pretty wants lasagna tomorrow and we'll need the space in the fridge for that pan when it cools down.
We didn't do anything this weekend. (Listening to the cicadas buzzing outside is annoying and definitely not fun!)

I hope the appointments go well and you get an x-ray of your hip. My left knee is starting to bother me again. I'm trying to ignore it. It's not our year for cicadas. I remember them at the other house. There were so many.

Not hearing from #3 is so odd. Dreams can be very disturbing and not make sense. I wondered if you possibly had another UTI.

She called and came over yesterday. She got overheated; and her face broke out in hives and swelled up.

I wish for you to have a dream, that seems happy and natural that you do not question one night.
It just makes the heart so much happier having one.
But they come if and when they do, not everyone has them.
Last night we had an eye of the round roast beef, mac and cheese, corn, and cucumber slices.
It was yummy.

I wish I had a happy dream too. My hubby used to call the eye of round roasts "bullet meat".

@Juliaacv I used to cook it until it was tender and serve it with mushroom gravy. It was good. My husband called it bullet meat because of the shape.

Hearing you had a UTI must have been a surprise if you weren't having any symptoms. Maybe it's good luck and they caught it in time.
The weekend was pretty quiet but I'm not complaining.

@Marilynda1225 No. I try to drink enough water; and I go to the bathroom every 2 hours or so (that is recommended for women to avoid UTIs)...I don't know what else to do.

@LindaOHio I can remember having them every time I turned around. They are miserable. I haven’t had one in about a decade now. I don’t know what happened, but I am grateful. I do drink a ton of water.

I would not be surprised if all this strangeness is happening because he has regrets now in the after life and does not know how to make it up to you, I baked two small potatoes and mashed them with salted butter, then fried up chicken fingers, and some slices of tomatoes, Later an ice cream sandwich and a Hostess cupcake,

If you are dreaming about hubby it may mean he is watching over you ..... depends what you believe.
I had ham sandwich with coleslaw and bone grown tomatoes for lunch.
Free pizza for my evening meal.

I’m glad the UTI got caught even without symptoms, at least you can treat it before it gets worse. Yesterday I kept it simple omelette for breakfast, noodles for lunch, and grilled chicken with veggies for dinner.

Another UTI? Oh man. I hope you can get healed up quick.
For dinner we were in Memphis and decided on dinner at Jim and Nick's Barbecue. Food was great, although when we got there, they were out of beef, chicken and turkey, so all they had was pork and fish. I was wanting beef brisket, but I settled on a pulled pork dinner, and it was very good. I had macaroni and cheese and baked beans on the side.
Mom paid the dinner bill, so even better that it was essentially free. lol

@LindaOHio Interestingly, when we got there, there was hardly anyone in the place. I do wonder when they actually ran out. It was probably a little after 7pm when we got there.

That does sound strange; the dream...but dreams don't always make sense that is for sure.

I had the usual (chicken taco) for lunch, rice and southern-seasoned canned cabbage leftovers and cheese taco for dinner. Applesauce, yogurt, fiber.
