Went to my eye doctor appointment yesterday. The doctor said that unless I just want new frames, there should be no change in my eyes because of the lenses that were put in when I had my cataract surgery. He said the problem I'm having may be because the glasses weren't made correctly. (I have to tip my head up to see through the lower focal point to see the TV clearly.) So I'm good for 6 months. My eye pressure was good too.
Breakfast - Protein bar
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - BBQ chicken breast, baked beans, cornmeal muffin, spinach, mac and cheese, banana
Dessert/Snack - 1/2 banana walnut muffin, mini Moon Pie
Dinner = Turkey/Muenster sandwich, chips (I may have to find a home for the huge box I have = 1 oz. bags)
What did you eat yesterday?

That sounds good. No more high sodium foods or processed foods for me. Sigh.

Americans eat more highly processed foods than any other country does. And they are so bad for us...I have managed to eliminate most. And we have so many foods that are ridiculously high in sodium as well. After you eliminate a lot of them from your diet, you get used to it and pretty soon you don't crave as much salty stuff.

Well that is good news, right? Sorry how the glasses were made though.

Yup. I put in eye drops every evening to keep my eye pressure down. Without them I would go blind. So when my eye pressure is low and stable, that's really good news.

@MommyOfEli2013 It's no big deal to put the drops in every evening.

@FourWalls Hubby and I were always going to go there together. We both had been there with our parents when we were young.

@LindaOHio - My husband had them adjusted because they were not correctly aligned, their mistake, so they adjusted with no additional costs.

I ate a slice of potato bread for breakfast yesterday and then ate French fries for lunch... I was surprised they stayed down.
I'm feeling much better now. Pretty was feeling better yesterday. She always gets better faster than I do.

@LindaOHio Thank you. I hate being sick but being sick for three days is better than catching Covid and maybe having it worse than that.

It might be worth it to get them made correctly, but otherwise it is good not to have that one more expense.

We had grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato bisque soup. Glad to hear your eyes are doing well. I need to get in to see my eye doctor. Had a cataract surgery a couple of years ago and the doctor said I would get one in the other eye. So I need to check on how the other eye is doing.

@celticeagle Mine hurt. I don't know if they didn't put enough numbing agent in my eye; but it hurt!

That's certainly good to hear that you're good for the next 6 months.
Last night we had grilled chicken on a salad. Easy and filling. Pretty soon it will be too cold for these salads nights and we'll be having more comfort foods.
