You will never guess who called me Friday. Gravel man! He said it was good to hear my voice. WHAT?!! He's been having difficulty with one of the meds he's on and has been passing out. He's going to the doctor the first part of October and will call me in two weeks. WHAT?!! Surprised the heck out of me.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Lasagna, cauliflower, peas, garlic bread, fruit cocktail
Dessert/Snack - 1/2 Banana walnut muffin
Dinner - Turkey/Muenster sandwich, BBQ chips (they have about 215 mg of sodium, well within my limit). I will have to eliminate the cheese once the package is empty. No cheese in a kidney disease menu is allowed. Sigh.

I love broccoli. At least that is something I can eat on my kidney diet. No carrots though. Thanks. He certainly surprised me when he called.

There is something in cheese, yogurt, etc. that is not good for kidneys. I forget what.

WooHoo the company that you have been needing, and just at a time of the year where we become more housebound due to the weather and the hours of sunlight. This will be an interesting time.
yesterday, I had half a toasted ham sandwich for lunch and a delicious beef stew for supper.

Well, that's an interesting turn of events... Let's see what he says in two weeks. I thought he was completely out of the picture.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast, ate two chicken strips and some cottage cheese for lunch and had some chicken taquitos for supper last night.

Gravel man did my driveway. When he was done, he asked me out to dinner...but then he went into the hospital with his pacemaker problem. Then I didn't hear from him for ages and figured he wasn't interested. But then he called and said it was good to hear my voice. WHAT?!!! We shall see if he calls in 2 weeks.

So that was some excitement. I had chocolate cherry super oats for breakfast. And an apple. Skippy snack bar. Sauteed zucchini and onions with cheddar cheese for lunch. Mott's Berry flavored applesauce bar, and then cottage cheese and an apple.

Yes. I figured I wouldn't hear from him again. I have to give up cheese and most dairy stuff with this kidney diet. Sigh.

I still had some of my mac and cheese with chopped ham, and I scrambled some eggs and just tossed in the mac and cheese, and it was all tasty and good.

It's been ages since I had Chinese; and now with the kidney thing, I have to stay away from foods with a lot of sodium. Sigh.

@LindaOHio He doesn't mind it cooked in a dish so much as long as there isn't great loads of it but he doesn't like it just with biscuits or whatever.
