I recently spoke to a myLot friend on the phone. She filled me in on the comings and goings here on myLot, so I promised her I would stop by. I believe it’s almost been two years since I have last posted a discussion. I must admit that I have thought about so many of you. The photo, if it appears, is of Orville the osprey. He’s still alive, thank goodness, and busy chirping away. I’ve looked up the meaning of his chirps and learned what each means. He still comes when he’s called and I have gotten others here in Florida to applaud him when they see him catch a fish. He’s still so amazing! Happy to finally be here and in Florida!

I really have forgotten how to use myLot. It took me all morning to figure out what to do. I thought I replied to you, but it appears that I have not. I will try to stop by as much as I can. I really missed you and hope all is well.

I've missed you too, there aren't as many of us around anymore, so many either got tired of Mylot or, like you, had real life issues that are much more interesting. The boyz and I are doing well, thank you.

@rebelann I heard that two passed away. Always sad to hear that kind of thing. I have noticed how quiet it’s been here. Easier for me to keep up. Happy to hear you and the boys are doing well. Music to my ears.

@DianneN Yes, it is. The storm has muted a lot of us, but we’ve also lost some people. Luckily, Valerie recently came back, and a few others also have returned.

Glad to see you back! So is it your 2nd, 3rd or Nth return here? Anyways, good to see Orville. I hope things are going fine for you. Lots of developments in life in the past two years. Good, bad, some kind of ugly. Lots of learnings. I have not been too active here at times but sometimes I do manage a decent time here. Looking to some active posts from you at least for some time !

It feels like home being back here and seeing friends. I know we lost at least two that I heard about. Don’t know who else, but I am glad to see you! Hubs and I are both fine. Of course we are getting older every minute and feeling it. Better than the alternative!

It's been a while. Nice to see you again. I do love osprey. I live in Boise, Idaho and we have the The World Center for birds of prey. A wonderful spot to go see eagles, falcons, owls, etc.

@DianneN ........We also have the Frank Church - River of Not Return Wilderness here. That's 2.367 million acres of protected forest and the wildlife that resides there. I hope and pray that Trump doesn't get his hands on it.

@LadyDuck I hope so, but the couple who live above me heard my applauding Orville every time he caught a fish, and they do it too. They live here full time. Ospreys get very proud when they catch a fish. A couple of days ago, I ran onto the lanai when I heard Orville chirping like a lunatic, and saw that he had a fish in his talons. He flew in circles flying right in front of me. I told him YAY and clapped a lot. I didn’t care who heard me.
