The Curtain Lady Told Me To Call

My photo shows an early June portion of my ongoing new garden with some of the metal sculptures that I believe Judy Evans asked to see. I didn’t have time to post yesterday, but did all of my notifications and completed them early this morning. I had to get back to my walking, had a 3 hour hair appointment instead of the usual 4, saw my brother, spoke to my sister-in-law, my brother’s wife, who flew down on Tuesday, and received multiple texts from my friend, Sandi, whose poor husband was sent to the ER from rehab due to disorientation. He had to wait for a bed. She’s on the way to see him right now. Last week we canceled reservations at a favorite Italian restaurant. It’s very difficult to get a reservation, so I mentioned in a post that we were told to tell them the curtain lady sent us. She originally suggested to the owners to cover their windows with white, sheer curtains and their business boomed and made it even more difficult to get a reservation. When I originally called, they had our name in the system, so never had to mention the curtain lady. When I canceled, I made reservations for tonight with no problem. So no cooking for me tonight (yay) and a night out with my hubby

Oh, I would have thought you would have saved it for "date night."

Too crowded unless we go early. Besides, we’re going out Saturday night and Sunday for more eating events. I may have throw away all my bathing suits forever at this rate..

Thanks. That’s a shot from early last June. It looks its best before the first frost which kills everything.

I’m sure, too. Fortunately, we enjoy being together without always having to be with friends.

I love that photo. I wish it would get that green here but I'd have to water a lot daily to get even half that and that would tick off the water company, they fine us if we over use water around here.

Living in a desert, I can see why. I have to move our sprinkler around that area about once a week or so. Our irrigation system only reaches a tiny portion. I still like my water photo more

Thank you. I can’t wait to get back to it. We had some trees cut down, so more sun loving flowers can be planted. We are both looking forward to dinner at that restaurant - alone!

Wonderful! We had lunch out today, but my husband had to eat very little and very early because he had an ultrasound later. May be we can go out again soon to have a better meal.
