I actually had a relatively relaxed last day in Florida considering we had no internet this morning.
Cleaned, spoke with my friend, Sandi, received notification that our pizza reservations are confirmed for Thursday night’s dinner with our son and his fiancée, my brother called to wish us safe travels, received our boarding passes, and the best news ever - Orville the Osprey is alive and well!
We haven’t seen him for over one month. I had thought the worst, but he chirped and whistled with that lovely loud mouth of his, not once, but twice and flew around the lanai before taking off to fish. I love that sea hawk!
Now I can go north feeling at peace.
See you from the other side as soon as possible.

You explain to Orville when you'll return and tell him to wait for you. Have a safe trip and give a shout when you get home in Connecticut. This is the place where I felt most at home for several years in Trumbull. Who known how many owners it has passed through now.

That silly boy always seems to know when we arrive and when we leave. I always worry if he’ll still be around when we return.
That’s such a cute red house! Trumbull is a lovely town and has certainly grown. Were you near the Trumbull Mall or closer to Shelton, CT?

@DianneN closer to the mall. Heading toward the mall and the highway, there was this large church in a sort of triangle I always admired but never found out what church it was.

@sallypup I can agree that connections are the pits, especially if one plane takes off late and the one you need is about to leave. They actually held the plane for us in London going to Scotland. It was a harrowing experience running through the airport
