Pounding on the Door

That's weird. They just leave stuff on the porch here. Maybe because of package theft though they do that in your area.

That would upset me

Our delivery people often do not knock at all, they do text you as they pull up and you just retrieve your package after they leave. I hope that the rest of your day wasn't as alarming as it began.

That is insane, I had a quiet start of the day, we got up at 5:30 and later went to the store to buy ice creams, tomatoes and mozzarella for our lunch.

The past days had been a blur. My head hurts yesterday because of the lack of sleep

I started off my day drinking water and that is how every day starts now. If my package needs somebody to sign for it, than somebody knocks on my door or if its really large. Theft is a problem in my area and a big package is easy to see.

I never get an Amazon package that early in the day.

Still that was strange but at least it was nothing major. With my anxiety that would have totally wrecked my day.

I hope there was a doggie treat in the delivery.

They never knock here...and that's awfully early for a delivery. I was up all night as usual.

I hope you can get that door camera installed very soon. We live in a strange world...the cameras really do help with a bit of peace of mind. My daughter sent me a Mother's Day gift from Amazon. The camera went off at 4:30AM the Saturday before, and it was on the porch, I got the picture on my phone...not an Amazon truck but a personal vehicle. That's just too early. So was yours, how ridiculous.

I was late at work for 2 minutes Because I go back to sleep and when I woke up again the time is ticking fast. Lol!

I'm glad you got your package delivered even though the knocking (or pounding) was excessive. I probably would have expected something disastrous going on outside with all that pounding.

That would enrage me, they could of just knocked and dropped the package off

Loud knocking would have me running to the door too.
