Pounding on the Door

Around 7:15am there was pounding on the door so loud and emphatic I RAN to the door. What was it? One of those individual Amazon delivery people. My dog went nuts. I had visions of a bloody neighbor needing immediate help. But hey, at least it didn’t linger by my front door; although I do get an email notification when something has been delivered.

That's weird. They just leave stuff on the porch here. Maybe because of package theft though they do that in your area.

Ours just lays the package by the door, takes photo, and leaves. Why did he pound on your door? Do you have instructions for Amazon to knock for deliveries so that nobody steals the package from outside your door?

That’s what the normal Amazon person in the trucks do. They take the picture, leave it in front of my door, and sometimes knock. That’s just not what I get from those independent carriers who deliver in their own cars. I still get an email saying it arrived, but there is never any picture. And not since those two guys tried to kick in my front door years ago have I been so alarmed.

I'm glad you got your package delivered even though the knocking (or pounding) was excessive. I probably would have expected something disastrous going on outside with all that pounding.

That would enrage me, they could of just knocked and dropped the package off
