5/29/26 - Meals

That’s funny, WWE Smackdown with the insurance company and a tree trimmer. (In a sad way it’s funny.) I had the usual for lunch and lentil veggie soup for dinner. Watermelon! Peach applesauce! Yogurt! Fiber!

When I switched insurance carriers last year, I had to have some over hanging branches trimmed. I don't even know if Progressive inspected. It wasn't cheap to get it done

Insurance companies can be so weird.

Wow! That was an easy $100. Why does the tree guy have to meet with State Farm?

I ate sweet potato fries with fish filet and veggie salad yesterday.

That's good about the lights. Sorry about state farm. That's good you'll still get paid, 17 mins is not too bad...

What was the focus group about?

Is State farm's assessment riding on how they like the trees?

I hope they agree to trim the tree more.

Nice job on the focus group. Short and sweet is always good. We have never ever had an insurance company make us have trees trimmed. They have always noted the distance between the nearest fire hydrant was to our home, and I remember when the 2 bridges were out between us and the fire house, years ago, my husband contacted the insurance co. to advise them that we were 20 minutes further as a result of the detour. I remember being at a summer barbeque where the local politician and his wife were, and a friend of ours, who owns a business was asking how long before the bridge work would be completed, as it affected the number of customers coming in. My husband added to it that he had to contact the insurance company, and the politician, who was so clueless, made a statement that he thought it would just be an inconvenience of time not of anything else. He was voted out the next election.

I am glad the lights are now fixed. You paid the guys to do the job and it's up to them to do the job as the State Farm requires.

I ate beef gyudon for dinner. I still have some leftover for me to eat tomorrow

Glad your lights got fixed and that you'll still get paid for the focus group. Hope State Farm isn't going to be a pain with the whole tree thing. I've thought about switching my home owners insurance to someone cheaper but decided I didn't want the hassle of having to go through whole inspection thing to get the new insurance. I'll just deal with the premium I pay now Last night I had a Dolly Parton beef stew (frozen meal) added a baked potato and some snow peas. Sugar free jello with some cool whip for dessert.

Still camping on Friday. We made houli houli chicken thighs on the grill with some rice and peas and potato salad on the side. All very good.

It feels good when things get fixed, that is for sure. I am not sure what I ate yesterday. Oh, last night we had hamburgers smothered in peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Half a baked potato.

Glad the lights work now. That was a fast focus group

Eating things I enjoy like a couple of frozen pancakes topped with pork sausage patties and melted cheddar, Hey, groceries next Saturday.

House insurance companies are getting pickier. Last night I made very tasty and easy supper: Parmesan melted on potatoes and fake chicken tenders. Ice cream bar.
