Dogs or Cats or both or none

Dogs or cats or both or of course none at all Right now we are none at all as we are away quite often and I don't think it's fair on animals and anyway, costs a fortune to put them in lodgings for two weeks at a time If we had pets again we would have cats or maybe just one cat Not having a dog I'm beyond taking it for walks Could have a hamster But the cat might eat it So what's your situation with pets Come on now let me.know.meow woof squeak

Don't have any, but we spend time around my mom's 2 dogs almost daily...so that's close enough.

Yes indeed If you see 2 dogs every day it's like them is your pets as well Is one a little white thing that looks quite cute

We could love a cat but they have to be kept 'contained' and I'm not keen on litter boxes. We're away quite a bit too so no cats for us.

@Ineeddentures I can understand the need but it's not what I want.

Cats, they are more independent and I loved to see the kitty of my neighbors swim in their pool. People wrongly think that cats cannot swim, they can naturally swim as all felines. They do not like water, well I also do not like water.

This is a no brainer for me. You know that I live in a domestic zoo. Technically my town could send an official out and bust me for having too many fur kids on my property.

My relatives loves to have cats inside the house which can be a challenge trying to avoid either falling or stepping on them walking inside the home.

The cats can indeed get under the feet of people in the house And they sit on the sofa which is fine but they need to move if told to move

I’ve always preferred dogs over cats, probably because I grew up taking care of dogs more often Right now, I don’t have one since pets aren’t allowed where I live, and I know owning a dog requires a big commitment. It could also limit our lifestyle, like traveling, since they need continuous care.

I get along better with dogs than cats so I have two. Every time we go on a trip, we have to scout for a hotel that allows them in. Same when we eat at restaurants. Fortunately, we were able to find one that allow them in. When we had Danie only, we were able to travel a lot. But when Yuki came, it became less and less. Danie is easier to handle than Yuki.

@ineeddentures Like you, none because of travels. Would like another dog but I’m just not taking a wee plastic bag when I take it for walks. When travelling days are over we’ll get a cat. My wife has named most of the cats in Athens.

My Shelby Ann passed away in October of 24 at age 15 1/2. With my health and finances, it would not be fair to bring in another for myself. I don't want to take a dog for a walk or potty at 3am with the mt lions, coyotos, bear and crazy weather. My son wants cats and a dog, so...I live with him now so I have no choice to be around them, but the responsibility will be off me for the expenses.
