I have seen gas prices higher, but they are rising now. Are they changing where you live?
I can still make it to and from my band mate's house for about $15, but it's a bit of a pain.
I think we have another practice tomorrow,...

Ptrikha_2 They should not be rising. International Oil prices have been depressed in fact.
Yes, there could have been a temporary spike after Prez Trump kind of gave a hint of "action" on Iran.
However, that action does not seem very likely.
Here, Gas prices are steady....

So, I figured I'd pop on here and say hi.

I didn't mention on here but about a week and a half ago, I spilled no more than a tablespoon or two of coffee on my keyboard. I cleaned it up promptly and it seemed to work fine, but later I noticed several keys were dead and I...

Do you like beans? One crop I seem to have consistent success with is beans, mainly climbing beans. Some years it feels like the only thing I can manage to grow!
I grow runner beans (red- and white-flowered varieties), climbing...

Netflix sent me a message that this was available so i decided to go watch it. It wasn't until about half way through the film that I realized I had seen it before. But what a grand adventure to rewatch so I stuck it out.
There...

Ptrikha_2 I think one or two names are in the final stages of being appointed as the new Bond.
It won't be the same however.
I did watch this movie on Amazon Prime Video in early 2022.
It not only has the thrills and action but high on emotion as well.
However, I rate...

After ten years our microwave quit working. My first though was it might be higher because of the tariffs. But it was about the same price So that made me happy.
Took the microwave home and unpacked it. Two cats came running...

We had more snow overnight, which brought us up to 7 inches (my sister’s area got more). The picture is the view from my “patio” door to the back. At 4:16am, it is 7 F (-14 C) outside, with more snow expected in a few hours.
I...

Ptrikha_2 While the sight of such snow looks pretty, I suppose, it is not something to relish with such a low temperature and such extreme cold providing challenges when out.
I suppose it also means that your winter electricity bill would have gone drastically up.
Stay...

Ptrikha_2 I suppose Snow is good from seeing in warmth from some distance, not for venturing out !
I have been to a place with snow just once in life (Feb 2008).
Here we have had quite cold weather.
The extreme seems to have passed but we are still having a lot of Fog...

How foggy is it, Horse?
It's so foggy that I can barely see my truck in the parking lot.
OK, that was at 7:30 AM. That's the kind of fog that makes even the stupidest of drivers slow down. .
At 9:30, I can see my truck, but I...

Ptrikha_2 Tons of Fog here.
Plus Smog (the heavily polluted variety).
Yesterday morning and a few other days, the fog was so dense that even something 50 M away was barely visible.
Road traffic gets very slow.
One needs to drive with blinkers on and any speeding can be...

Ptrikha_2 So you had a very tough time with Yvonne being very ill.
