Today I decided to launder my sheets. I have a new favorite set of flannel sheets from...

York in Western Australia was the first inland town to be developed so there are some very old and historic buildings in and around the town and the area.
Outside the Post Office is this sign. It’s the first time I’ve seen a...

Ptrikha_2 This is a good and very much needed gesture.
Aboriginals had been in places now known as Australia for Thousand of years.
Now the question that comes to our mind is that if the remnants of those original tribes are well assimilated in the modern Aussie society...

We had a brief thunderstorm this morning before I got up. That has helped it be a very good temperature. I will try to get some things done outside today. I know I need to pull some weeds.
Except for that it will be a calm day....

Ptrikha_2 We had pre monsoon showers today.
The weathermen say that these were pre monsoon ones although the kind of heavy showers we had are more characteristic of Monsoon rains.
Anyways these showers have lowered the Mercury and the humidity as well.
Hopefully you...

While we’ve been travelling, we visited a car museum in York. That’s York in Western Australia, not the one in England.
In the photo is a Ford Model T Torpedo Runabout. This was found in a very run-down condition in outback...

Torpedo sounds like an interesting name for a car model.
