| | photo results | Thunder Alley at Rolling Thunder | Rolling Thunder is held every Memorial Day weekend, the Sunday before Memorial Day is observed, in Washington, DC. The run forms up at the Pentagon and goes over Memorial Bridge past the Vietnam Memorial. It is a run for POW/MIA (prisoner of war/missing in action) awareness. If you like bikes, come see it. One year we had over 600,000 bikes registered for the run. It seemed there were almost as many there as support and as onlookers. It is beautiful! | |
