People are ridiculous.
If you want to have an exotic or unusual pet, fine.
But don't call it an emotional support animal.
An alligator is NOT an emotional support animal.
Some old dude in Pennsylvania says he's been taking his...

Dead beat parents are parents that will not pay child support.
They do not support their child in anyway Not even buy them a treat or a toy. Nothing at all.
They are both men and women that walk away from their children.
They...

The price of food just continues to rise.
Yesterday my son and I were chatting in the truck on our way home. I told him that I had just placed an order for a hind quarter of beef. Although I always ask for a small animal, since...

We do not own a CD or DVD player. Nor do we own a VHS tape player.
There's no reason for them to just sit here collecting dust.
Sure, we'll only get probably 25 cents for each $10-$15 CD/DVD...

Nitpicks are people who are critical of everything that you do.
Nitpicks will even make fun of stuff that does not even matter.
They find faults with everything .that you do and with everyone in their lives.
After awhile I...

I don’t necessarily mean participating in physical competitions. I played basketball in elementary, junior high, and one year of high school, and I never enjoyed that.
However, I used to watch America Ninja Warrior, which if...

Yes, even at my advanced age
British people always use the collective name of ‘cutlery’ for knives, forks and spoons – eating utensils in general – while Americans use the term ‘flatware’.
Naturally I was under the...

I came home from Guitar Center a tiny bit grumpy. I had some really good students earlier, but finished up with a couple of young piano students who just wanted to goof around.
I bought a bottle of wine and put my pyramid hat...

I didn't watch it yesterday. I didn't seek it out. That's just not the kind of thing that I need to have in my brain. I have a couple of regulars who visit me when I'm on bathroom duty. They did it...

I had to watch Trump's reaction to the murder of Charlie Kirk, a young Conservative "influencer" who was shot to death while engaging in a discussion on a University campus.
At first, Trump's words resonated with me. Anybody who...
