Completed a one-on-one study on glaucoma yesterday with Rare Patient Voice and earned $120. It was supposed to last an hour; but the moderator was done asking questions in 22 minutes!!! I have been accepted for a study on dry eye with another company for $185. I must download an app; and they will study my web browsing for 4 weeks. I haven't been approved for a study in a couple of years; and now I got 2 in one week! If anyone has dry eye and would like to be referred for this study, let me know. Anyone interested? The lawn guy showed up after lunch; and we now have a presentable lawn!!! The grass was SO HIGH! Now we just wait for the landscaping guy to be free so he can do something with our weed bed. Breakfast - Protein bar Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Ham, scalloped potatoes (they were raw), mixed vegetables and pears Dessert/Snack - Donut and decaf coffee Dinner - Ham and cheese on a bagel What did you eat yesterday? Photo Credit: Mine - The entrance to Mel Fisher's Museum. He is the one that searched for treasure for years until he finally found the Atocha. It was worth millions and millions of dollars. I'd love to do the study but I only play games on my smartphone. Would they be interested in seeing what games I play? (I only play different solitaire game on Mistplay to earn extra money. *shrug*) I have dry eyes and have been prescribed Restasis twice a day. I'm glad your lawn was dry enough to mow yesterday. It stormed here until about noon. And started storming tonight about 3 am. (We have a 30% chance of rain today. ) Screenshot taken at 6 am (just now).

@LindaOHio I wouldn't mind. Would they care that I'm awake at night and asleep during daytime?

I believe you can do the study on a smartphone or computer. I have a laptop that I use all of the time. They would require you to do a search on something dry-eye related every couple of days. If you'd be interested, let me know!

@DaddyEvil I don't think they care as long as you do some kind of web browsing; and some of it should be dry eye related every few days. They will fill you in if you get accepted.

Good for you and your surveys. I take Restasis for dry eye but I don't think I qualify for this one. Would be nice. Congrats on your lawn. I know you feel better now. Love the photo. Great memories.

@CarolDM I use the generic for Restasis (cyclosporine). I put down all my other physical conditions too for future studies. If you are really interested, I can give you a link. Just know that I will need your real name (which I know) and your phone number. They will call you to explain the study, etc. 10% of the $185 goes to a charity of your choice. I chose to receive the money through PayPal and there will be a small % held back for the fee. The other options or Amazon and direct bank deposit. No way will I give them my bank info. They only have a couple of spots left; so let me know ASAP.

You are doing very well with the studies all at once. Yesterday I began to eat again. I managed a poached egg for my midday meal and 1/4 of a hamburger for supper. The daytime cold pill dries me out so chewing and swallowing the hamburger was difficult. This morning I managed a little dish of cereal with strawberries.

What are we going to do with you, Julia? I am concerned about you. I'm glad you are eating a little bit; but you still are not well. Please drink lots of fluids and get as much rest as you can. Sending positive, healing vibes and prayers.

@Juliaacv I hate water too; but it's good for you, especially when you're sick. Now that you know you have pneumonia, you can be treated properly and start getting BETTER!

@LindaOHio You make me laugh. Thank you, I know that is an order. I think that I may have to get some pedialyte to keep my electrolytes in check.

I love to hear about it. As I have glaucoma and recently my eyes have been feeling very dry. I notice it felt less dry on the day I didn't apply baby powder to my face. It is less dry but I would love to know what makes my eyes dry. I heard that the eye drops that I use has many side effects and one of them is causing dryness in the eyes.

You need to see an eye doctor about your dry eye. They have drops that will alleviate the condition.

@porwest I checked out the PayPal bank thing. There is something in there saying that I may not be able to get paid in other currencies. I get paid in pounds from the survey site that gives me the most money. Hmmmmm.

Thats pretty good that you got two studies so close together. Glad the lawn people showed up and your grass looks good. One of the perks of living in an HOA community we don't have to worry about the lawn or snow removal.

I could never wear contacts with mine either. I take Flaxseed Oil in addition to the drops. It seems to help.
